How many times a day, on average, do you have a surreal realization that Donald Trump is actually the United States President?

I think "surreal" is the wrong word for it. "Aghast" would be closer.

Surreal, yes, in terms of the accompanying realization that there are those many really, really dumb people with votes in the United States.

Well I'm not as stupid as Princess Nancy or the dump Waters from Ca. and say that Bush is still president (he was better than Obama which is probably why during Obama's eight years they kept saying Bush was responsible and the president). But that's the leftist for you. Live in a reality world of their own.

The people say Trump is president so then it must be true so I don't have to ask myself a stupid question like you are asking. Maybe once you wipe the tears out of your eyes and take your thumb out of your mouth you will be able to see better.

Just think what a terrible mess this country would be in with hag Hillary?

Embrace maturity. And intellect. Then perhaps some human empathy and compassion.

Cripes. Somewhere between the name calling and unfounded assumptions, I think we found ourselves a banner example of someone who would have or did vote for Trump.

Surreal.

Trump existence is surreal.
Trump campaigning, was surreal.
Trump's behaviour is surreal.

He topped the weekend off, with this-

Trump Declares "National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month"

The president has been accused of assaulting more than 15 women

http://www.motherjones.com/politics...april-national-sexual-assault-awareness-month

"Let him do it," was another Trump lie. He sexually assaulted women, everywhere he went. If he could not physically assault them, he attacked them in the media.

http://www.motherjones.com/media/2017/03/new-yorker-cover-takes-swing-trumps-white-house

"That’s the word that comes to mind as I watch President Trump plowing one (golf club) drive after another through the glass windows of American politics."

Illustrator Barry Blitt

(No, the person that I quoted did not use the word surreal.)

Check out the cover of New Yorker, at the link to Mother Jones.

The cover is surreal. All of the windows of the White House are broken. Trump has driven a golf ball through each window.

15 women? How does that compare to the history of Bill Clinton, whose wife was supportive of him every time?

Honestly, several times a day. I'm astonished. I never dreamed that this could happen. I've connected the dots and there is only one conclusion. Others just don't know yet what American Intelligence knows. The Joint Chiefs know. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when and how. I think that the intelligence agencies will continue to leak information of a criminal nature so that there is an obvious need for a criminal investigation. It is necessary to dispose of this fraud in a measured and legal manner so that only the very limit of the lunatic fringe acts out.

Clinton had an intern blow him. Entirely consensual.

He's a hound who cheated on his wife--with or without her knowledge, who knows? Not our business, as long as it's not a problem for Hillary that he cheats on her. Maybe they have an arrangement.

Beyond that, you have false allegations and rumors funded by Right Wing smear campaigns, nothing ever proven. He's never been convicted of anything.

So you're right, it doesn't compare to the Pussy Grabber's taped admissions of casual sexual assault.

I'd say he has the awareness down pat. Not doing so well on the prevention.

As for the thread topic, yes, it's surreal in the literal sense of the word. If you had told me five years ago, "In 2017, a golden retriever will be President of the United States," I wouldn't have found that any more unbelievable than what our current reality is.

Considering the status difference between Monica and Clinton, I'm not sure it was entirely consensual. Clinton lied about it, even under oath, until he got caught.

We had allegations against Clinton and now we have them against Trump. As for Trump's "admission," considering the circumstances, that may have been consensual too. Casting couches do exist, and a woman will sometimes allow sexual liberties by TV big shots in order to promote her career.

I'm sure you know the left wing can smear at least as well as the right wing.

FWIW. I have no use for Trump as a person, any more than I did for Clinton, but I believe discussion should focus on important matters, rather than incidents from decades ago.

You weren't doing too badly (for you) up to this point. Charges of sexual abuse are important matters. I'm surprised that some women posters here haven't reached through the Internet, grabbed you by the throat, and choked the life out of you. They were important in the Clinton case, and he was raked over the coals. They are important in Trump's case (and there are instances in Trump's case that are more recent than "decades ago.") This isn't a case of anyone here condoning what Clinton did and therefore neutralized on holding Trump accountable for sexual abuse--and don't be an idiot by extending the guilt to Clinton's wife--just because you want to be a dogmatic partisan (and more than a little stupid).

Charges of sexual abuse are not trivial, but they are not as important as current policy. If, ten years ago, some guy copped a feel from a woman who was making herself semi-available, I can't get all that worked up over it. The other accusations are no more than that, and might have never even happened.

ETA: As for Clinton's wife, she reviled the women who were making the accusations, even though she couldn't have known whether most of them were true or not.

True maturity and true intellect should've left you with a wider angle of perception. One that would've shown you the kind of path the country took on and what was coming ahead. In which case, the utmost levels of maturity would kick in, couples with a nice set of bold and hard balls (we also call it courage), and when no one on both sides of the aisle is letting go of the ship's wheel, you just dive and go grab her by the rudder - or pussy - and steer her against her will to the direction that avoids it's demise.

To you, this will sound like fallacy or wishful thinking. But a truly informed mind equipped with intellect and maturity would see this as such, and have humor about it too, calling others hiding behind terms like empathy and compassion as snowflakes.

Coz we no longer have time for that now.

And yes, i know, you'll never get what I just typed. You have a crippling need to be first and foremost a poet, for some reason.

Then perhaps you should recognize that there is something so inherently wrong about the Democratic Party that, not only is Trump our president, but Republicans have run the table. They have everything.

Maybe, just maybe, if you took some time to think about how ridiculous the left is getting, you'd understand.

If you continue to sit here and dismiss my words, this will continue to happen. I hate Christians with a motherfucking passion. But I'm not going to side with people who want me to think that white people need to shut up, men need to shut up, and white men need to die. I'm not. Sorry. And neither is most of the country.

Get your shit straight, Dems. If you double down, you may end up seeing a 2020 Trump as well. You have 3 3/4s years to fix it. Talk shit all you want. The consequences speak for thenselves.

You're a real dim bulb. You can't even get your own bullshit straight.

Do you not see that the same grounds by which you defend the Pussy Grabber equally apply to Monica Lewinsky? But in her case, you switch lanes, and say why no, that "could have been non-consensual."

We have an instance of Trump admitting to grabbing what he wants. You defend it, and blame the women.

We have a blow job in the Oval Office that no one, including Monica Lewinsky, ever claimed to be non-consensual. You attack it, and blame Clinton.

And none of this has anything to do with lying, which is a separate issue.

Irony. ^^^

But hey thanks for the random personal attack. You're a peach I'm sure. :rose:

3-4

As fu*k up as he is, with his carnival family ( except for Ivanka), I worry more about the Republicans who can't seem to get out of their own way....

You somehow saw one. Kinda partial-case in point.

Don't blow smoke up my skirt. And don't pull passive aggressive bullshit either.

Own it or step away.

You want to try to start something and then dance around it?

You're wasting my time and yours.

Self confidence is a good quality. Quite risky, as you can see in my case for example.

It's most so when coupled with a flawed perception and a slightly over-inflated ego, and there, one starts to deceive thyself in the name of those qualities not allowing for a question, not allowing for a what-if, and there-in lies, the self lying.

It could make for nice poetry, tastes are abundant. But science will quickly show holes, and philosophy... oh Lord that will have a big bang in it's conclusion.

Assumptions are a real bitch aren't they.
