Kids don't have school today, a nap would be hard, but not out of the question. It is only a quarter after ten in the morning.

It was too snowy and windy to send them to school, so they closed them all across here. They are calling for up to 16 inches by Wednesday.

If I ever get a chance to come to the UK . . .I will be spending it all with visiting people from Lit, and not seeing the sights, because there are so many I want to meet. YOU are soooo at the top of that list with mark and Sulk. :D

I've never been outside the US, with the exception of Canada, which means I've not been off this continent. lol.

If you can make it for the weekend of March 2nd/3rd you can see us all at once!!! We are having a get together for a rugby match. Mark is local anyway, Sulk, EA, Bob Briton and JW2801 are staying here and GA and his missus are coming over just for lunch and the match. I am counting the days!!!!!

One day I will make it to the states and I know just what you mean. Won't have time for any of the sights, have far far far too many peeps to meet and greet. :D  :D

That would be cool, but impossible for me. No passport and no funds for an overseas visit, but that would be fun. :D

I'm going to be in Chicago at the end of March for a Chicago Lit-together. :D I am looking forward to it. :D

The lack of funds at this end is the only thing stopping me from getting to Chicago :( :(

We don't get it all the time. Years ago Indiana did get this much snow and then some. . .all the time. . .but not anymore. This is a rarity for us, lately.

I enjoyed living in Tennessee. We lived there while I was between 8-16 years old.

Well, we're under a blizzard warning till Wed. morning at 7am.

I like to see the ice after it has formed and the sun is out. It is so beautiful.

Yes, I will have to agree with that.....very lovely.

Will kids be out that long?

I bet that tomorrow they will be. If the wind dies down after that, then the trucks can push the drifting snow away and the kids could go on Thursday. We'll see though. It really depends on the wind factor tomorrow.
