Hey, anyone seen the Call for Submissions thread? If I missed it, I am having a neurological examination because I really looked.

hmm I wonder if it was removed because it had links to outside sites?

If so, wow, the powers that be come to the poetry side??? Kewl. If not, well corrected, I will stand. I guess letting people know about calls for submissions elsewhere might be considered promoting other sites? It was not the intention, I know people spend a lot of time here, and might as well get the info. where they live instead of having to leave lit to get it what? leave lit?

hmmm brings up some very interesting questions.

It would suck if we cannot share opportunities to become published elsewhere.

Well I had a poetry contest to post on that thread.

What's cool about the contest-- 1 buck per poem, every entrant gets a prize (many independent publishers and poets donate copies of their books etc)

I didn't. I actually saved the link for that toy store review contest. I think it was on that thread. Anyway, I'll sign in under the mod name check the mod forum and see if it's there.

If you search for thread titles, there is a Call for Submissions on AH but that's it. It's like the entire thread has disappeared. But since AH has a similar thread, and we have a thread here asking everyone where they're published, then I'm sure the Call for Submissions thread wasn't a problem.

Yeah, but if any of us moved it, it would be in the mod queue forum. I don't see it there. I think it may have been totally deleted, but only Manu and Laurel can do that, and I'm sure they didn't since AH has a thread just like it. Maybe some odd glitch?
