I’m assuming that your response was serious. We seem to have different opinions about what activities are fun and harmless within a marriage, though I’ll refrain from using derogatory language about your opinions.

I’m not sure where to start. My wife and I think that variety in our sex life is healthy and fun. Keeping sex fun and exciting is something that we value in our relationship. I think that most experts would agree that an element of novelty is something which keeps activities stimulating and interesting. Trying new positions, toys, lotions, games, or locations are fun for us. It was a little chilly, but it was nice and sunny. We had bottle of wine, fancy clear plastic wine glasses, and had a romantic picnic that was fun for both of us. I wouldn’t call it cold, although trying to have sex out in freezing weather may be fun to try sometime as well.

Webster defines “dumb” as “lacking intelligence”. I would call our activities logical and creative. Neither my wife nor I would consider it excessively risky or irresponsible. It’s not like we were on a kid’s playground. We were off the beaten path on a hill over looking a lake, and were extremely well shielded from the main road by several trees. I’m sure that many here wouldn’t consider it very daring by their standards.

In my state, the sections of the law concerning indecent and disorderly conduct contain the following phrase: “… and (he) is reckless about whether another is present who will be offended or alarmed by his act”. I wouldn’t say that we were being reckless, though this is my opinion. Regardless, even if it was illegal, I think that we were discrete enough that we were unlikely to be caught anyway.
