My father treasures his Sunday dinners.

Barbequed beef ribs and brisket, corn on the cob, fresh green beans, rolls, and canteloupe.

I'm gonna pig out.

hey riff, can't believe noone responded to this. sunday dinners have always been family time for us whenever possible. when i was i high school sunday was the one day my dad cooked. usually pot roast with potatos, onions and carrots. he made his in the oven in a big roaster. damn, i can still taste 'em.

now every sunday i get together with my mom, sister and whichever neice or nephew is in town. today it's bbq chicken, potoato salad and ranch style beans.

sunday dinners rock

My sunday dinner will probably be a Mc Donald's double cheese burger with my boyfriend and his three year old son...which will then go into a Movie with him, the kid, and his parents...a double date ;) We are going to see Spiderman I do believe.

On my way over to family Sunday dinner in about 20 minutes. Tonight is fish fry night! :)

Does popcorn count as dinner? I'm feeling particularly lazy today and there's no one around. I love long weekends :D

Pork-chops, mashed potatoes, corn, peas, and Pepsi... gawd sunday dinners kick ass...

I don't usually have a Sunday dinner.. just whatever I cook up for myself... but I'm at my bf's house right now, so I made spaghetti and mushroom marinara for the family.

Nothing different on SUnday than on any other day. It's all the same fucking day, man.

Now that I escaped the dorms, Sunday dinners are great.
Had peas and rice (the absolute best), baked chicken and fried plantains, macaroni, etc.

Yum, yum.:D :D

Ahh campus cuisine. It's dizzying heights (Ramen Noodles), it's terrifying lows (running out of Ramn noodles) and everything in between (bumming off of friends because you are fucking sick of Ramen noodles).

I ate like unclej and passed out on the couch. Got leftovers too. :)

Ah, Ramen Noodles, my saviour this semester.
They alone need a tribute thread. :D :rose:

Growing up it was Mom's roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy every sunday.

Tonight I had a vanilla soft serve ice cream cone from Carvelle.
