I would have thought either: "What a total asshole or so on" or "Ok, he got the signals crossed and he tried but I showed him that I'm not interested". But I would have left it at that if it was just a one-off and there was no aftermath.

I would have taken action only if there were repeats of that scenario, or if he made life difficult for me after the incident by trying to get me fired or so on.

I haven't read much about it so I don't quite know which scenario applies.
