Name: Kara Zor-El
Age: Appears 24
Appearance: http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/4350/230pxkarazorellx2.jpg
Kara has long blond hair, bue eyes, tan skin
Bio: Well, since they're are a wee bit too many variations, I'm going to go with the cousin relationship to Kal-El one (tough if you like otherwise). Technically she was older than her cousin, but since she was put in stasis he had grown older than her, while she retained her youth.
---

Kara was drifting in the clouds... literally. She had taken a break from working for the Kents, and she yawned as the sun beamed down on her youthful body. She had a simple white t-shirt on, and a pair of tight fitting jeans. The Earth had provided her with comforts beyond her dreams, and yet she found challenges all around. In any case, she was brought back "down to Earth" when she figured she should get back to her tasks.

Name: Lance Thorn
Age: 25
Human
Appearance: black hair, blue eyes, 6'3", 180 pounds, tanned skin,

Bio: Lance is good looking, but hides it behind his baggy clothes. He has an inferiority complex, spending most of his free time playing video games. He also does a lot of target practice with his father's gun collection. He meets Kara during one of her grocery trips for the farm, as he works at the grocery store.

IC: Lance sighed, looking at the Kent farm. He'd known the Kents for a while, having been a delivery boy since he was 14. He now does most of the work at the store for his mother, including doing delivery runs again. He pulled into the driveway, and got out of the truck he used slowly. Looking around, he saw no one. Of course, that didn't meant there wasn't someone there. He shouted for anyone to hear. "Delivery from the grocer."

Kara had finally touched down behind the barn when she heard someone call out. She brushed her jacket she was wearing, and sighed. I don't want to work, she said to herself. But she came around the bend and smiled at Lance.

"Hey!" she said, catching up to him. "What's up?" she asked, looking at his old truck. "How much longer are you going to keep that old thing?" she asked with a smile. Kara liked to tease Lance, and she teased him a lot.

Lance stuck his tongue out at her, then looked at the truck. It really did look under the weather. But, he was saving up to have it rebuilt. "One of these days, I'm going to clean her up, make her look nice and pretty. So, are Martha and Jonathon here? They placed an order and said they were too busy to come pick it up." He looked back at Kara, the sudden thought of what she'd be like in bed coming unbidden into his head.

"One of these days, I'm going to clean her up, make her look nice and pretty. So, are Martha and Jonathon here? They placed an order and said they were too busy to come pick it up." Lance said, turning away from the truck.

"Yeah, they're inside." Kara said, smiling before she remembered that Clark wasn't home but wanted to talk.

"And that reminds me. Clark isn't here but he wanted to talk to you. He should be back tonight sometime. Why don't you come along then?" she offered.

Lance blinked, then nodded slowly. He liked the idea of dinner with the Kents. Martha was an incredible cook, even though her family was wealthy compared to Jonathon's. He smiled, then started to pick up the groceries from the bed of the truck. "A little help here, Kara?"

Kara nodded as Lance smiled in agreement. He grabbed some of the deliveries for the Kents, and he stole a glance at me.

"A little help here, Kara?" he asked. She walked over to the back and grabbed a good load of groceries in her hands, more than Lance could carry in both arms. But she carried them with ease, waiting for him to catch up.

"Come on slowpoke." she said.

Lance shook his head, then carried the bags into the house with her. Looking around, he studied the decor, as he'd never actually been in the house. "Nice place."

"Nice place."

"Thanks, but it's not mine. I'm only staying here till I can find an apartment." she said, putting the bags onto the table. Martha and Jonathan came into the kitchen and Kara smiled at her "relatives". Only they and Clark really knew her secret. But with the way they acted, no one could tell without being a mindreader.

"Lance swang by and dropped off the groceries." Kara said, and catching a glare from Mr. Kent, she groaned. "I'm going, I'm going." she said, heading back out. Lance came out afterwards, and Kara yawned. "Chores up the wazoo." she said.

Jack had set the rest of the groceries on the kitchen table, then followed Kara outside. He grinned at her mention of chores. "Hey, at least you get free room and board. I have to rent."

"Oh I wasn't complaining" she said, picking up some of the rather heavy grain bags in each hand that were lying next to the wooden fence on their property, and hoisting them up onto a wooden platform. Her muscles were noticeable as she went about with her duties. Lance was leaning against the rickety truck.

"So, are you getting that fixed or buying a new one?" she asked.

Lance raised an eyebrow, then grinned. "It's a classic. All it needs is some new parts and a new paint job. What about you? Don't you have a car?" He watched her doing the chores. He found it slightly odd that she was able to lift so much, but after the stories around school about Clark Kent, he figured it must be genetic.

"It's a classic. All it needs is some new parts and a new paint job. What about you? Don't you have a car?" Lance said while Kara went about doing the days chores.

"Car? No, I haven't saved up enough to buy one. You might not have noticed but farm jobs don't pay a lot. Besides, I don't get paid to do this, It's my way of saying thanks for the stay." she said, tossing the last bag effortlessly onto the wooden platform.

"One of these days I'll get a job in Metropolis like Clark, and I'll have my own car." she said with a smile.

Lance smiled, then pulled a bottle of water out of his truck. He took a swig, then smiled. "I'm tempted to move myself."

Kara stopped for a second, taking a small 'break' to talk with Lance a bit. He took a drink of water, and then shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm tempted to move myself."
he said.

"Where would you go?" Kara asked, sitting on one of the fence beams.

Lance shrugged. He hadn't really given it much thought. "Well, Metropolis is as good a place as any. Of course, I can't really afford to rent a place myself. I'd have to share living expenses with someone." At that, he looked her up and down.

"Well, Metropolis is as good a place as any. Of course, I can't really afford to rent a place myself. I'd have to share living expenses with someone."

"Well I'm sure someone as nice as you won't have trouble finding a housemate." Kara said, and then she heard her name being called. Her full name, rather, so she knew she was in trouble if she didn't get back to work.

"Slave drivers, but I love em." she said with a smile, hoping down and yawning slightly. She dusted off her t-shirt and scratched her head.

"Crap, I forgot what I was supposed to do next."

Lance grinned, then shook his head. "I actually don't have anything to do right now, so how about I help you with your chores?"

"I actually don't have anything to do right now, so how about I help you with your chores?"

"I can manage just fine, but if you really have nothing to do then I guess it's ok. Better check with them first though. They might think you're hitting on me otherwise." Kara said, looking for her leather gloves, she brushed her blond hair behind her ears as she slipped them on.

"I always lose these."

Lance stuck his tongue out at her. "Is that a problem?" He followed her around the farm, watching her arse as she walked.

"Is that a problem?" Kara heard him say, and she shrugged her shoulders.

"I said I didn't mind help, but I said I can do it ok by myself. But you should check with the Mr. and Mrs. first." she said again, scratching her head.

"Crap. I just forgot... oh wait nevermind." she said before finding the pile of new posts that would make the fence. Ugh, they want me to use those?" she said, to no one in particular."

Lance grinned. Then he decided to ask her something that had been on his mind for a while. "Kara, are you...you know...."

"Kara, are you...you know...."

"Am I what?" she asked, and picked up a post, holding it under one arm. She didn't think much about it, but in reality it would take at least two people to carry at least one. She walked past Lance who didn't seem to notice. Dropping the post onto the ground where it would eventually be implanted, she headed back for the others.

"Am I what?" she asked agian.

Lance blushed, then tried again. "Have you ever...been with...anyone?"

"Have you ever...been with...anyone?"

"Huh?" she asked, not taking the question seriously at first. Then she saw him blush.

"That's a little personal Lance. I'm surprised you asked." she said, stopping to see where this conversation would lead to.
