An Airbus pilot takes a Hawker Hunter T-7 up at an airshow at Shoreham Airport, West Sussex. He proceeds to plow it into the A27, taking at least four cars with him.

Motive unknown.

It always happens that way, does it? The rumours about suicidal pilots start appearing soon after.
And I doubt, somehow, that he half of all those pilots that were labeled as suicidal actually acted on it, or that they purposefully chose to harm all passengers in the process.

But it would be more convenient for the Airlines to let all these speculations slide,
instead of having people focus on technical or maintenance issues etc.

Accident. It was an airshow. The pilot didn't get enough altitude to make the loop and pancaked into the road.

Toll is now at eleven "highly likely" dead.

Reports all say "pilot fights for life", so they're downplaying the suicide factor.

Whole of Sussex in mourning and seems everyone knows someone who perished. For many reasons I'm angry about this and at this stage I don't wish to elaborate, suffice to say these wanky exhibitions should first and foremost keep the innocent public's safety at an absolute minimum: These poor victims weren't anything to do with the damn show.
