Ok...I've made this suggestion a couple of times...decided I am going to put up a post directly for feedback.
As I've said before...we ask for updates and a smoothly running site. Problem is...we don't get them in a remotely timely manner. I look at this in a buisness perspective...I know it takes time to code some things...and while some matters [like a link to the discussion board] take all of five seconds...some other features may take a few hours to a few days depending on the task at hand.
Yes, the main Literotica site is often updated...why? Start counting the ads on that site and you'll see quite a few up there. Those ads pay the owners of Lit for space used and generally for the amount of clicks recieved by visitors to Lits site. We do not have any such ads on Chyoo.
How to go about convincing Lit to advertise on there? Simple...for one...show them we would be willing to support having advertisements and by being active on the Chyoo site. On thier side...they would have to find sites they trust to advertise on there and to give us some decent updates...I see this as a win-win situation...with a lil give and take on both sides.
Or option two...a few of us are experienced at coding java and HTML...perhaps we could convince Lit to allow us to update the site...that I am not so sure on thier reaction to...but its a suggestion.
Any feedback would be appreciated...but i just see that doing things of this nature is much much more constructive than whining on this forum about us being the left alone stepchild of Lit....
