:) Add a little blurb in the FAQs about how long one can expect it to take for a submitted story to be posted. That will help a lot, I would think.

Also, if it was possible to send an email when the story is posted that would be great too.

You don't check fanatically? I do. I submit a story and I'm sitting at Lit every night at midnight pacific standard time when she updates. I'd know before the email happens.

LOL well, I check in the morning when I login, usually at 2:30am Pacific Time. But I always go through my e-mails before I go to lit (does that make me a bad person? lol) so seeing an e-mail would be helpful in that case.

Good idea.

With the volume of stories I get nowadays, that's not possible for me to do manually. Maybe I'll talk to Manu and see if there's a way to make it so that when a story is approved, the script automatically sends out a note to the author.

Beautiful! I'm sure that will ease the frustrations of new authors who are bouncing on tenterhooks in their chairs two minutes after submission wondering when they'll see their baby on screen for all the world and millions of readers everywhere to see. I know I was. Six weeks later up pops my story and it took me two days to figure out why I was getting email about it. LOL SillyMuffin.
