I know people write stories based on true events, and sometimes use the real names of the participants in the stories.
And we all have friends who have similar names: Joe, Jane, Janet, John, Jack...Paul, Phil...Dave, Don, Dan, Derek...etc.
But when you're writing a story, please refrain from using similar names like that...even if it's a true tale, change one of the characters' names. I can't tell you how many times I've been reading a group sex story, get confused between what Jan is doing to John and Jen and give up on the story and switch to something else.
Just my $0.05 (adjusted for inflation...)
