I'm not at all sure how many new people out there that are registered as Chyoo members actually even visit the forums, but for those of you who haven't been here that long, and perhaps even veterans here's my personal list (In no particular order) of highly reccomended authors here at Chyoo:

Juiblex, Gystex, Aaron Webster, Zingiber, daciasdesire, Jakelyon, Sim8425, deathofcards, Bredravis, niceguy2002tim, Pryomantic, u21098

I'd be very interested to hear from the authors I listed to get their opinions as to authors that they would reccomend to readers.

P.S. I need more threads.

Great List!

Hello,
first off I want to say thanks for listing me as a highly recommended author. I am flattered. I haven't writen anything in a long time and that was a little bit of motivation. Maybe I can use it. lol. We'll see.

Your list is a great list, I am thinking hard to see if there is any names I'd add to it. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but your list has made me miss the old days... I would love to hear from some of the older chyoo'ers that I haven't heard from in a while... such as Daciadesire... and Deathofcards hasn't been around much lately either. I highly recomend his work in my story Secret Agent, Sarah Banks.

With Imhotep's list, I have had the pleasure of working with almost everyone on it. Hopefully my path with cross with the names I am not so familar with.

Thanks for the great list. Can I add Imhotep to the list?

I too am flattered to receive a recommendation.

I have to tip a hat to the authors like Imhotep who set up the settings, characters, and ideas that spark off ideas for threads.

Authors and stories to start with...

I'd recommend SlidingInSilk. She does a nice job of mixing plot, action, setting, and character. She hasn't been too active lately (last update was Aug. 7th).

A few stand-out stories:
Archie: Awakening In Riverdale by RobinRestless stands out to me for being fun, sexy, and pretty true to the Archie characters as described (or only mildly exaggerated).

Aaralon's Discoveries by Sixth is a big, diverse magical-medieval fantasy.

The Choices We Make by daciasdesire is another big, diverse story -- this one about a young man's adventures one busy evening as a senior in high school with some choices to make.

Other authors I've enjoyed reading and contributing to include
AaronWebster
SparkyMan
Imhotep
brevdravis
JonGrey (I recommend Apartment 3G).

My own bias: I tend to prefer stories with character interaction and and detailed descriptions, and seem to be inclined toward reading about group scenes, both female and male bisexuality, and interactions among people who already know each other. This might be worth keeping in mind if you're interested in some other direction.

Happy reading and writing!

Its good see so manyauthors whose stuff I like listed thus far - as well as a few unfamiliar names that I will definitely need to check out.

The only glaring ommission thus far, that I can think of is the prolific kendahl6969. Is that man capable of writing a bad thread?

P.S. I need more threads.

Done! :)

Thanks, AW!

..and may I return the compliment. Some great stuff added to 'Lucy Redux' since you've returned, thanx a bunch!

You can't really go wrong with Imhotep's and niceguy's lists. A few I'm not familiar with, I guess this would be a good opportunity to check them out!

And, AW, new threads for your stories coming soon, really, honest!! I've nearly cycled through my outstanding threads, yours being two of the last approved before my (computer) breakdown.

You still remember me?

Jeez.... I haven't posted anything new in three months.....

Thanks for the praise tho!

Let's see... My list. I haven't been here in a while so this might be a little innaccurate

Well I miss Dacia.... That goes without saying.
I also miss OoooKitty....
I enjoy AaronWebster,
Niceguy2002tm,
Jakelyon, and
Imhotep's stuff is great....
Gystex's girl on girl stuff is great too....

Uhm. I'm Probably forgetting somebody and I apologize. It's been too long...

Stuart

Thanks

Hello,
I just wanted to say thanks. Imhopet's kind words was enough to inspire me to write. I have wrote one thread, granted it was for my story A Lost Identity: Sex Fugitive, but I wrote one. It was my first in about 3 months. I am working on getting back into the swing of Chyoo now. It's hard to decide what story to add to when there are so many great ones. I enjoyed writing stuff for all you guys. But, I don't know if I have that much energy. We'll see, once I figure out where to start.

Thanks again,
-Tim (niceguy2002tim)

P.S. Look for my name to be appearing on Chyoo more often.

I too am flattered. I should be back in the swing of things any time now ( this weekend is kind of busy though). I am writting as we speak and provided the two viruses I had on my computer are truely gone, they should be up soon. Great to see Stuart back even if he is only popping in.

I'd like to thank Imhotep for recommending me. I urge everyone to check out his work as it is really good!

I can't disagree with any of the writers listed. All of them are very good and I've enjoyed their works. I am glad that I have had the oppurtunity to work with some of them and I look forward to working with those whom I haven't.
