IC: I sit on my back porch reading my newest book I recieve as I gift. I wear a long black cotton skirt and a white tank which accents my darkened skin quite nicely.

I had just finished unpacking and getting settled.I walked out onto my back patio with a ice cold glass of tea.I just changed into my swim trunks to take a dip in my pool when i glance over and see my neighbor Kara siting out reading,looking just as beautiful as ever.I whistle at her agnologing that she was hot causeing her to glance up at me a second then back to her book.I just smiled and dived into my pool...

I curiosly peeked over the edge of my book at the sound of a whistle from the neighbor. I could feel my cheeks burn a bit being embarressed at the gesture and I quickly turned my eyes bak the the book I was reaking. suddenly I hear a splash come from the pool. I peeked up again to watch him as he swam. Cute, but I could never talk to him. I'd just die. It happened evey time I tried.

I swim for a bit,then i pick up my towel and go inside to change.I switch to an unbuttoned black shirt and blue jeans."Invite her to dinner," i said to my self.Being a chef for a few years at a fancy resturant,i have a few dishes that would make anyones mouth water.I walk out through the front of my house noticing again that this is a pretty desolate neighborhood seeing only one other neighbor besides kara,and that was an old couple.

I swallow all my pride and go up and knock on her door,....

I hear a brief knock on the door. Quickly setting down my book I rush to answer it. Funny. I wasn't expecting company I thought to myself as I opened the door. There on the stoop stod my new neighbor Chris looking quite nice.

"Um.. Hi...umm....how may I help you?" I still could feel my cheeks burning in all my shyness.

I could see her face turning bright red as she saw me.I flash her an unsure smile and said," uh,yeah i came over to ask if youd like to join me for dinner over at my place later,as kind of a house warming for myself to make friends,im a 5 star chef,i even won an award for my chocolate strawberry cheesecake," i was just blurting out a whole bunch of ramblings now.I bet she thought i was kinda strange.I waited for her answer

"Dinner,...Well sure I guess." I wasn't sure really. I wasn't one for crowds but I guess since he was cooking I wanted to be polite.

"What time would you like me to arrive?"

I glanced at my watch. "about 8:00," i said politely.I let a small grin cross my face,but i started to feel my face burn in a way i usually didnt."Ill see you then," i said and turned and went back home.


I dug around my kitchen till i found all the neccicary pots and pans.I went into the freezer and pulled out some lobster tails i had in there and set them in the oven to cook.Then i went to work making a salad.then after that i started slicing up potatoes to hake some home fries. i had set a bottle of wine out for after dinner.My last step was making a dish of chocolate covered strawberries for desert.

I glanced up at the clock and noticed it was quarter till.So i started setting the table on my back patio getting the plates and making the plates.the lobster tail wound be a few more minutes so i sat and waited till an unsteady knock at the door...

I quickly rushed inside to change. I wondered why he invited me. He barely even knew who I was.

I slipped into a silky black tank and a jean skirt adding a pair of black starppy sandals to it hoping I woldn't overdo it.

Nervously I walked next door and knocked with a shaky hand.

I buttoned up the shirt i had been wearing as i walked to answer the door.I had just finished setting the last of the meal out on the back patio.

I opened the door and i had to fight from my jaw dropping."hi,come on in," i said.I showed her into the living room and told her she could sit while i got something from up stairs.

I ran upstairs and took one of the dethorned red roses i just picked and brought it back down and gave it to her.

Then i said "If your ready to eat dinners out on the back patio," i said and showed her the way...

His gesture was so incredibly sweet. My face reddened a bit but not to the coor of the rose.

"Um.. thank."
I stood and followed him out to the back. There in front of me was a feast set next to the pool as the sun went down.

"It looks wonderful." I took a seat as he pulled out the chair for me. For a moment I thought I felt his hand caress my shoulder....nah it was probably just an accident.

Got her settled in her seat then i sat across from her.I glanced out at the sunset," beautiful isnt it," i asked her.I smiled softly i got up and offered her some wine.as watched for her reaction to the food....

"Actually water if you don't mind. I actually am not a big drinker. My tolerance is quite low." I smile a bit as looked out over to the sunset. " it is quite beautiful" I turned back to the food. " I don't think that I've ever had this fancy of a meal before. thank you"

"water it is then," i got a bottle of water from the fridge and brought it to her opened." it comes from cooking for the rich all the time," i said. i kept yanking my gaze away from her body and kept itcentered on her eyes as i started eating.i poured myself a glass of wine and sipped it slowly.

"um,i hate to pry but why does such a lovely young lady live in such a big house all on her own?," i asked,just then the last remembrence of the sun fell below the horizon.I sa =t and watched her eat for a second...

"I kinda inherited the house from a rich uncle about a year ago. I'm just using it while I finish off school and my parents kinda left me here while they went on one of their adventures in Europe." I took another bite and stared off towards the sunset.

i was genuinely interested in her words.I got up and turned on the radio i kept on the back patio,letting the soothing music relax me."Well,myself i graduated culinary school then went to work at the maxwell estate from the time i was 19 till last month,then id saved up enough to move to a new town and open a resturant there,""So,uh what are you going to school for?, " i asked.Waited for her answer then,"hey would you like to dance?" i asked...

"Im in school for medicine. I want to ne a pediatric sergeon." I listened to the soothing music that flowed from the radio as he asked me to dance.

"I'm not much of a dancer but I guess I'll try." I nervously got up from the table as he reached out a hand to help me up. I smiled at his gesture. I was still trying to figure out why I was here and what he wanted. No one had ever treated mywith this much respect, especially no guy.

She seemed so sceptic to take my hand.i leaned in for a second just to whisper," theres no need to be afraid of me or around me," then i placed my hands on her waist to dance hoping to gain her trust ,let her know i ment no harm," you know i dont wanna seem so outa place but i just want to tell you you are very beautiful," i said as we danced...

She was so delicate in my arms.I kept over and over wondering what i would have to say or do to make her at least open up a little more."i leaned in and whispered ", you can relax a little," i said an as i pulled back i felt my lips gently brush her ear,just enough for her to feel it...

I hard him wisper to me. the brush along my ear gave me a slight shiver.

the night air was a bit cool for the time of year and I felt a shiver rush through my body making my realize it was starting to get late and the cat needed feeding.

"I really should get back, Henry is waiting for me" I wispered to him. "Haven't fed him his dinner and he will be so angry at me if I don't soon."

I softly chuckle." well you cant argue with the master of the house can you," i said meaning the cat."well thanks for coming over and spending the evening with me,hey mind if i accopany you to your door," i asked. Without thinking i kissed her cheek and gave her a sweet smile...

I smile as he kissed my cheek. Not wanting to leave anymore. I like him. No one had trated my this well in so long. I decided to stay a bit longer.

"I actually could stay for a bit longer" Trying to defy my shyness "Did I see chocolate covered strwberries still left? Henry can wait a bit. I cater to him too much anyway"

I smiled."yea we barely touched them," i said. I took one and said " open wide," with a giggle, i fed it to her.I really started to like her."you know i could easily fall for you," i said only half joking.I ate one then i thought of something," dont take this as my just trying to kiss you,but ive got an idea,lets see if you can take one from between my teeth," i realized id been a bit forward with it but i took one placed just the stem between my teeth and waited for her to react...
