hahahah! I never thought about that, I can't look either... I like to be driven to the brink of frustration myself. At least with Sudoku, it's easy to check them and make sure the answers are right... you really don't need the answers unless you are going to cheat.

You'd better get in training, bub. You've never been with me for more than 9 consecutive days. You may not survive. ;)

I create puzzles that are used in newspapers. Mostly I create LADDERGRAMS, but also others. I sell them in batches like HOME DEPOT sells plywood and shingles to builders. If you have a puzzle column in a newspaper and need 20 crypto-quotes, I got them.

Lewis Carroll got the world hooked on puzzles. He was a logician, and considered puzzles to be good logic practice. They are. They force your brain to go outside the box for answers.

You would probably enjoy "The Listener" crossword The magasine ceased publication in 1991 but its crossword lives on. It's for people who find "The Times" crossword too easy. It's fiendish and an addiction for my me and my wife. You can find it on the Internet

When I lived in the USA the Crosswords were generally based on general knowledge rather than the 'Cryptic British' style.

"The Listener" Crossword is so difficult it makes you understand why the French describe masochism as 'Le vice Anglais'

Dare you to have a try.
