Subtle Hints

I tend to be kind of dense (okay, pretty much oblivious) as far as women's subtle hints of their interest in me, sexual or otherwise. Or maybe it's just that none are actually directed my way. I don't have any problem with that online. I just figure if a woman contacts me here or on other clearly sexually oriented sites, they're interested and I proceed accordingly. Real life in a non-sexual context though is a whole other story. So my question is, short of grabbing a guys crotch, how do you ladies let him know you're interested either sexually or non-sexually? Guys can chime in too with ways that women have let them know of their interest. I'm also curious as to whether and how your methods vary between sexual and non-sexual interest, between strangers and guys you know, and any other variations in the scenario.
