Submissive reactions saved me a couple of hundred dollars?

Well, as always I was in a hurry. I seem to be chronically rushing from one thing to the next.

Throughout the last 20 years, I have driven the same road home to visit dear ole'mum for all my special treats and favorite foods, some TLC or just to hang out and enjoy good conversation. During said 20 years, there is a small hamlet I drive through that is ridiculously small, boasting a corner grocery and a fire department. Quaint, pretty and having three streets, this village used to be best known as a real life video game, "Deer Dodging."
The simple little folks living there, felt bad for the deer in the harsh winter and fed them in their backyards. In the half mile of road through town, it wasn't unusual to see upwards of 15 deer in your head lights on a cold night.

A few years ago, the state made it illegal to feed deer within a certain distance from a roadway. The car/deer accidents were many and damaging. The only downfall to this law is that after the law changed, me, Miss T, found that she could drive through this little town at Warp Speed without fear of an accident.

Oops....the other day, I was driving through and saw the tell tale red lights in my rearview. Like a good citizen, I immediately signal and pull over. Dammity!

A young man dressed in grey approached the van and asked in a firm and commanding voice, "Do you know why I pulled you over, ma'am?"

Well, of course I did! However, something about this young man's voice and presence made my head drop, my eyes lower and my hands fold in my lap. Everyone of my responses was punctuated with. "Sir."

During the course of the conversation, my voice became softer and more demure as I quietly answered his questions.

As we parted, he said, "Now, you WILL drive 30 miles per hour through here from now on, right?"

"Yes, Sir!" I responded. He handed me back my license and no ticket! I was amazed as I was driving 25 miles per hour OVER the speed limit which would have been a couple of hundred dollars in fines!

Is it possible that my behavior had anything to do with how he handled the situation? I can tell you, I damn sure felt submissive as he lectured on, ad nauseum!

Does the behavior or response as a Dom or submissive ever play into your daily interactions?

in situation like you discribed my submissive nature takes over, ( i think NY state police all go to Dom voice training). i speed all the time, i have been pulled over a number of times for speeding amoung other things, but i have NEVER gotten a ticket.

Nope, didn't work for me. I got pulled over by a female cop. She asked if I knew how fast I was going. I said no, but I bet you'd like it if I shoved a butt plug up your ass.

 Ha! So what did she give you the ticket for?

I think that your demeanor had a lot to do with not getting the ticket.

And yes, because of the way that I am, I am that way all the time. The sexual aspect might not show, but the attention getting voice, and the other traits sure do.

Grin

Miss T, that's cheating! = )

made me smile. Thanks.

chuckle...
lilredwolph. i agree. they sure go somewhere for that voice training. leastways in my neck of the NY state woods.

i have a damn hard tme looking any state policeman in the eyes, even when it doesn't involve a traffic pullover.

last time i saw one up close, he was holding a door open for me at the post office, and i had a hard time just getting my eyes up to his chest level...lol....that, and me saying something incredibly stupid about the weather. meeting a man's eyes is not generally a problem, but.......

gotta be the uniform, and that Dommly "voice"
:D

*nodding*
when it's a person i have a great deal of respect for, man usually, but also occassionally a woman, my reaction is the same. tho, i usually have a hard time getting out any words.

rarely. but it does happen. usually unexpectedly too.

Miss Taken,
I had the same thing happen to me, except that i raced through a yellow (okay he said red) light.
I put both hands on my lap, looked down at them while he started berating me and then i think he started feeling sorry for me and started making excuses for himself for stopping me!

No ticket.

Hey guys... it works in both North and South Carolina also. I think they've all been to dom camp.

Dom Voice

Way back when the Earth was young oh sorry I mean me, I was a sheriff here in KS and they do teach you the 'Dom Voice'. It is used to take control of what is happening at the time.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I have long suspected as much. So, when you were a sherriff, did the submissive behavior work with you? Or did you give out those nasty tickets anyway?

LOL. I just had to ask. Inquiring minds want to know!

Gosh yes!

And even this NYS cop, who maybe just started shaving last year, really made me get all subbie on him!

:D

So, has anyone noticed that a Dominant is more likely to drive a waitress to tears when she screws up than a nilla guy? Mayhaps, they are used to quality service!

;)

j/k

That explains why I used to get tickets. But since I lived in a redneck area, I think it was because I was "uppity".

Still uppity after all these years

You uppity?? Not Eb.

Yeagh, and I think that is why I got my ticket when I was pulled over also. The guy cop tried to use that "dom" voice on me, but since I am Dom, and this "rookie" was trying to "shake me down." I had to let him no that I don't play that and just cause he has a badge, he is still wet behind the ears. I don't like young guys that try to flex thier authority. There is a reason that I have been around for as long as I have. Learn some respect.

Respect plus submission is very appealing and that is how you won over that cop Miss T. That is also how you won me over. You are so sexy and respectful. In one word...... Yummy!! I just want to eat you up Miss T.

Would that be the voice you can barely hear? Makes them ask you again the same question.

One kicker to this ... never break eye contact with them when you do it, and never blink.

The gum will either start snapping fast and furious, or they'll go slack-jawed.
