???- submissions and editing help?

Hi Folks!

I'm not sure what I need, but here's the situation.

I just tried to submit a story and from a Word .doc file and had it come across as garbled.

It's no problem to submit the story as a .txt file.

What I wonder is if anyone wants to look at it before I submit? I am writing for "fun" based not on fiction, but semi-autobiographically. It been years since I wrote anything but papers for my MA in Humanities and grants. Not exactly the subject manner here.

My first story is inter-racial and from early in my college experience.

Have you tried just simple cut and paste into the text box? That usually works a charm.

I'm with SR on this one. The c/p method is easy and let's you preview the story before clicking submit.

Try it, then let us know how you did.

You folks sure know how to solve a problem! I think that worked as the C&P let me preview and remove the page breaks from the word.doc original entry.
