Submission Question

Sorry, I wasn't really sure where to put this, and this seemed like as good a place as any.
How long does it actually take to get a story approved? I've written two, and I know that there's nothing wrong with them that would get them rejected, but for some reason both of them are still waiting for approval. I thought that it said somewhere that it usually only takes about 72 hours for them to be approved, but it's been about a week in the case of one, and 3 or 4 days for the other.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any advice would be helpful.

Ok. Answer to "THE BIG QUESTION": Generally 5 to 7 days if you submitted it by pasting it to the submission form. However, since there is a contest going on at the moment it could take as long as 10.

If it is a contest submission, it would take 1 or 2 days.

If you emailed the submission it could take as long as two weeks.

Since you asked "THE BIG QUESTION" it will take two years minimum.
