I've never had to say No, but the fact has always been there. I'm a part-time sub for a very good M/F couple. I'm completely new to the scene and they have taken me under their wing. Needless to say, in my experiences, they allow me to set the hard rules (and gradually, I keep saying I want more or something new), bearing that in mind, they take the ideas and run with them.

I openly appreciate the respect that they give me, both when in session and outside the lifestyle.

Welcome Ms. Aurie. I was an Alaskan for five years. I don't miss it this time of year! :)

I'm confused by the word 'submissing' in the thread title. Can you explain?

Confused

I've read this thread multple times (does that make me repetitive?) and I'm still confused.

Just make sure you pick up all your toys so no one trips on them

Maybe it's like trying to submit but not quite making it, like missing the submitting part?

Nah, that doesn't even make sense to me.

Maybe it's a typo.

As long as you are keeping your head on yoru shoulders with regard to emotional attachments, submitting to a couple who wants to train you can be a very fulfilling way to orient yourself.

And even if you are new, you must be a quick study to recognize the importance of respect. Too many people imagine submissives as not being respected by their Dominants or partners when the truth is quite the converse.

Welcome to lit.
