If you dream that you cheat on your loved one the night before your one month anniversary, what does it mean?

That you had a dream. It happens.

Anyway, did you really specifically dream about cheating (sneaking behind your loved one's back), of just more generally about having sex with someone who wasn't your so?

With or without loved one around, I have always had dreams of sex with different people. Fiends, neighbors, colleagues, people in TV... 'People on the AH too?' you ask. Hah, wouldn't tell if I had. :D

My last gf used to think it was great fun interrogating me about who, where and how I fucked in my dreams, and vividly shared her own dreams with me, when waking up horny as hell and jumping my bones. God I miss that.

No one can take responsibility for dreams until you get in there and run them yourself.

Then they're fantasies, and no one can take responsibility for the content of their fantasies!

My suggestion is to talk openly about it with your guy.

My husband and I have fantasized about other people from the very beginning. The key is that we are open with each other about it.

I know his fantasies and he knows mine.

Talk to him about it. Start by asking him who he fantasizies about. Ask for the details. Enjoy it with him. The share yours with him. Open up completely so he knows your every fantasy and has nothing to be suspicious of.

Make the sharing of fantasies so incredibly good that the reality of having sex with someone else would pale by comparison. The two of you can puch each other's buttons mentally much better than anyone else can.

Hopefully that you didn't have a nightmare

Nothing, it means nothing.

It was a dream! Enjoy it, for what it was, then treat it as what it was, a dream!!!

Not sure but if you find out ask what it means if you just turned 40 and you've been married for 22 years and it happens a bit, lol?

What Lew said.

I have the filthiest dreams involving you, but you knew that.

Lou ;) :p

I have those dreams all the time! I think it's the actual act that would be considered adultery.

Would you consider flirting adultery? Masturbating? If so, then I kill kittens and am an adulterer!

Does daydreaming count? Ihave some really lewd daydreams usually in the car as the other half drives us to work (doesnt trust me to drive for some reason!!!! :p

If dreams are infidelity then how much more so would be writing smut not involving your SO, which is a more conscious decision?
Not that I would regard it as cheating, but there again, I wouldn't consider dreams cheating either.

Although...

There was this one dream I had. Johnny Depp was hitting on me and I turned him down because I didn't want to cheat and I didn't want his kids to think of him as an adulterer. Johnny Depp! *shakes her fist at her subconsious* When did you get so moral, you?

So I guess that would pretty much be a nightmare.

Dreams are dreams, I often dream of 2 or 3 girls tying me up and using whips and chains on me. I wake up wet and excited and sometimes even masturbate thinking about the dream, but I'm not into pain or whips or especially chains and so never go there. If you dream you cheat on your lover the night before your one month anniversary it doesn't mean anything.
Of course if you dream it the night before your TWO MONTHS ANNIVERSARY then you are one sick puppy and should seek prompt professional help, SORRY, I couldn't resist that last part.

What if you are co writing a story with someone and then she starts sneaking into your daydreams? Thankfully, or not, I have much more decorum outside of my imagination than inside it?

You know, if they say that eatin' ain't cheatin' then I don't think daydreams would count either. My daydreams are pure and chaste, of course.

I guess we'll have to start working on that...
