kira?

Upper right hand corner of your screen: SEARCH

Go there.
Do that.
Sub-drop and BDSM forum.

Then you tell us what it is, okay?
;)

ok

so its like being at a really high high, your blood is pumping your heart is pounding your adrenaline is sky rocketing. and then all of a sudden your adrenaline dumps and you hit a low, your body kinda goes into an adrenline shock, you can see and hear whats happening but its doesnot quiet register. Its like what happens when you come out of sub space.

(kinda like when I got my nipples pierced and although it didnot hurt half as bad as I thought it would I still passed out because my adrenaline dumped and it was like I was awake I knew and cold what was happening around me but I oculd not respond to it just hear the voices calming me does that make since)

is that pretty much it in a nut shell.

Sort of, kira, sort of.
you're on the right track, anyway.

Go read the other sub-drop thread, okay, the one that lilredwolph just bumped for all of us.

Okay, imagine you're having sex. You're really loving it. You're sweaty and panting and right to the, 'oh god oh god oh god' part.

Then your loved stops and punches you in the gut.

I think it's like that. Of course, I have no idea.

is that sorta like when you are in the throws of passion and begging pleaseeeeeeeeee pleaseeeeeeeee Master may I cum pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee and he looks you right in the eye and says do you remeber when you disobeyed a directorder I gave you, and you whipser yes Master and he says NO YOU MAY NOT CUM, pulls out lays down and goes to sleep.

or is that punishment or hell is that just plain torture, or a bit of a combination of them all.

damn now I really am confused.

Go read the thread I started...I think it explains it pretty well. At least I get it.

thank you Cirrus, I am reading your thread and the link to the web site I found that and its helped alot thnak you so much

Newbie sort of question - moderators can close threads, right? What's the criteria for when to do that?

If a thread, or a particular response on a thread, violates our posted rules, then the moderators here on this forum have a responsibility to move them to the trash cans out back.

The Big Time Gods of Lit then decide what to do with them from there, whether they get shoved into the black hole of true garbage or whether they get reassigned a life in some other forum.

If a thread or a particular response on a thread simply violates community standards, then we have to weigh the never-to-doubted-benefit of free speech against the harm being sowed that post. That's a dicey game, a game of judgement and a game of being fair to everyone, the poster and the community.

Personally, in dicey sitations, i tend to leave the post but delete out the particularly offensive parts, leaving behind a little note saying i've done so. I then, always, send a pm to the poster to explain why i did what i did to their post.

The posts requiring balance and discretion and judgement don't come up all that often, thankfully. Mostly they're of the you-violated-the-rules-and-you're-out-of-here variety.
:rose:

Edited to answer the question that was actually asked :)o ):
We have only closed threads a couple times. When we got this new forum, we closed the old M thread because, well, it was where we'd come from. We needed to put our collective energies into the new forum instead of the old thread. It was seriously weird for most of us from then to have a whole forum and we needed to get used to it without running for the safe environment of the single thread instead.

We have closed moderated intro threads, too, so that people would see them as sources of information and not ongoing conversations.

Beyond that, none of us has closed any threads that i know of.
