I recently read David Halberstam's classic treatise of failure, THE BEST AND THE BRIGHTEST. Lyndon Johnson and John Kennedy had battalions of the best and brightest minds guiding them along the road to failure. If you want America's finest dummies Harvard and West Point is where they go to school.
Halberstam noted that when first class, top shelf failure is your goal, start with a really good, bad idea, and hand it over to the finest knuckleheads the nation has to offer. Failure is almost guaranteed. Only Providence can oppose such a force.
Obama? Obama's Americas plastic monument to affirmative action.

You see, there you go chasing red herrings again and failing to see the big picture of Iraq as the seed that sparked the largest democratic movement of the 21st century, Islamic Dawn, the roots of Islamic democracy.
A freeing of the Terrorist to be elected to positions of respectability, where they can free their nations of the yoke of western oppression and return to the business of war against the occupiers of Palestine.
