From the "Let's do Muslims" thread, there was a brief discussion on the flogging of a Pakistani girl in Swar and the mixed feelings it generated in certain members of the community.

It's like those things that you shouldn't laugh at, but can't help but find hilarious.

As an example of both, I present the Canadian Domestic Violence PSA and its sequel.

The aborted yelp at the end of the second one just cracks me the hell up every time.

I watched it with the sound off. Kinda sexy.

Oh, the sound's the best part. Gal in the first one is a great screamer, and you can't get the full impact of the hilarious yelp in the second one.

I felt bad last night about thinking that it was really hot how Tony Soprano manhandles Anabella Sciorra in Season 3.

That's fiction- it's fair game. Hell, I loved the scene where Silvio was smacking around Ralphie's stripper girlfriend.

It was a scene from Miami Vice in my youth that seriously turned me on to rape play. Hell, a lot of the little tweaks in my kinks come from that scene alone.

I was just mentioning that scene to someone. "Bitch, until you pay me that 3000 bucks, your shaved twat belongs to me!"

Made me want to own a strip club.

I feel bad that everyone gets really uncomfortable and tense before someone gets whacked and it makes me kind of tingly.

The problem with that first video is that the grab by the throat and push down on the table is, well, good foreplay.

I can see why those commercials were never aired though. Wouldn't do to get people too wound up...

And, honestly, who here hasn't sat in a meeting and wanted to do the exact same shit to some mouthy fuckwit that wouldn't shut their goddamned pie-hole?

I can't be the only one.

An ex and I used to invert the meaning- 'You wouldn't get away with spilling the coffee at home, you shouldn't get away with it here.'

I just saw a Yahoo News thing on this new anti-DV spot with some famous actress. Pundits were weighing in on various sides of the question. "Does it go too far".

It featured a male slapping a female, knocking her to the floor and then kicking her repeatedly as the cam pulls back to reveal that all the action has been taking place on what looks like the set of a Samuel Beckett play.

I had wood up until the kicking started. That's beyond the pale.

The way the New York Post covers rape/murder stories always turns me on. I think they have to know what they're doing. And it appalls me . . . and never fails.

Remember the story of the young woman who disappeared after a night out with her friends and it turned out the bouncer did it? Or the one who was held captive on Halloween by a guy dressed up like a firefighter? She wasn't actually killed, but I hate to admit how I pored over the details of stories like those. And waited for the next day's installment.

God, forgive me. Please.

Yeah, I followed that whole story. That guy was actually a successful author.

Oh, of course they do. Sex sells. Violence sells. Violence against women sells. Ever see those lurid 'True Crime' mags? Always a hot babe on the cover and 'Kidnapped and violated!' splashed in 24 pt font?

WIsh they still had those.

there is a show on the Bio channel called "I Survived"...it's actually really really good, deals with people surviving all kinds of life threatening situations from natural disasters to animal attacks to attacks by fellow man. but whenever a woman recalls an attack that involves rape, i admit to paying extra close attention...they never give too many details, but i always find myself getting aroused.

also any true crime stories involving abduction and rape...where a girl or woman was kept in awful conditions and raped repeatedly for an extended period of time. and when the stories end in murder, i will admit....i only find that MORE arousing.

it is a very strange feeling...being consumed with sympathy for someone and rage over their horrible experience, but at the same time being very turned on. very wrong indeed.

Uhm. Yes. I also watched it with the sound off and found it pretty hot. Minus the scalding coffee, anyway.

I do the same thing and it never fails to make me feel incredibly guilty.

You should feel bad about that.

Butch men under life and death duress. I know. The downer for me is that fucked up race shit kills my boners badly - I guess the knee jerk has delved in hard somewhere, so that something like Abu Ghraib which should have worked for me doesn't and plunger rape by NYPD which would SO turn me on if they were pulling well fed white guys off the street as they get into cars - neh.

Victorian penny-dreadfuls never went away really.

Your kidding, right?
I know, you're not supposed to be judgemental and all that shit, but If I witnessed anything even close to either of these vids, I'd break the cowardly piece of shit in half.
After I crush his pathetic excuse for a head.
