She and I have really connected in the time we have known each other. We have the same views, lifestyle, and hobbies, but there are two things of standing in the way of asking her out and getting into a relationship with her. 1st and more most is the age difference, she is a little less than twice my age and will only kept things at a flirtatious level. If you really care about her, and it sounds like you do, a long distance relationship can be very frustrating. She's also probably worried about the age difference because she has feelings for you and will worry about you leaving her for a younger woman as she ages. That's a scary feeling for any woman, let alone one who is already up there in years. If you're not prepared to offer her security and she's not interested in a fling, let it go.
