Well I don't know why I came here tonight,
I got the feeling that something ain't right,
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you
.

Yes I'm stuck in the middle with you,
And I'm wondering what it is I should do,
It's so hard to keep this smile from my face,
Losing control, yeah, I'm all over the place,
Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right,
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.

Well you started out with nothing,
And you're proud that you're a self made man,
And your friends, they all come crawlin,
Slap you on the back and say,
Please.... Please.....

Trying to make some sense of it all,
But I can see that it makes no sense at all,
Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor,
'Cause I don't think that I can take anymore
Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right,
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.

For the first time in my entire voting eligible age I am contemplating sitting out this election.

I can NEVER see myself voting for Hilary...and Obama has nothing but words.

I am currently supporting McCain....but IF he should choose Romney as a runing mate...I am out. Same should he choose "good ole boy" Haley Barbour.

I guess the only ones that will save my vote is either Lieberman (yes I still have my Sore Loserman t-shirt from the 2000 campaign) or Rice.

Still gotta lot of thinking to do....but as much I hate to admit it...I will sit out this election if I feel there is not a candidate (and running mate) worthy of my vote.

I absolutely WILL NOT vote against someone...but if I can't for someone...I will not vote at all.

Sad but true.

I am stuck.

I never thought I would feel this way, but it's true.:(

...and Obama has nothing but words.

*sigh*

I keep hearing this, despite the man's sterling history and achievements.

Take a closer look, please. Read his books. Examine his schooling. See where he came from and what he did to achieve where he is now.

His ability as an orator is perhaps the least remarkable thing about Barack Obama.

I'm not telling you what to think... but I am telling you not to let others tell you what to think. This man has perhaps the most wide-open history book of any presidential candidate in the last 100 years.

I am confident telling you to make your own decision because I am that confident that I made the correct one.

Times I wish the US had our system of compulsory voting.

You have a limited number of candidates and the idea is to choose the best one; one of them is going to get it, make it the best one available. Opting out is copping out.

But all he's ever done politically is the Senate. To be presidential material he needs administrative experience. If he loses the election and then goes back home and wins the governorship, then there will be little excuse for not voting for him.

Um...

If Londoners can elect Boris Johnson with his magnificent record, surely US voters can elect anyone, no matter how limited their "experience".

Boris would be a good Mayor for LitLand. :D

I dont think it matters who gets elected President. Once the price of gasoline gets to 8-10 dollars a gallon the economy is toast.

It's like being on the TITANIC and arguing who will make the best Queen.

I'll be a votin' soon so I'm doing more research. Hillary was leading, but the more I'm reading, gotta say I'm leaning for Obama. Hard to find balanced comparisons, though.

Damn, I thought this was a threesome thread.

I like Obama a lot, but I'm starting to lean towards Hillary a bit.

Guess that's the problem, I have no serious objections to either of them. I do like the idea of a serious orator for president (Obama), after living through three republican presidents inarticulate to the point of stupidity - be nice just to hear some straight up inspirational speaking for a change instead of the usual mealy mouthing and prevarication.
