would knowing your rules of the game prevent me from being the first one to end up naked... i somehow suspect that they may not.

my rules are 'i win' which means i win, but if i win, then generally, you will win too! ;-)

What are some of the rules everyone plays with? A piece of clothes for the worst hand? Everyone loses one except the winner? Any new ideas???

rules

would be something like
5 card draw

Ante 1 piece
to get more cards another piece
winner gets the pot
no clothes you have to bet dares or iou's


I also heard they sell decks of cards for the game!!

I think the best way is to assign a value to each piece of clothing and play for something like pennies or match sticks or m&m's. Something like shoes worth 3, shirt and pants 5 and underwear 7. Then you could bid on hands, drop on a bad hand and run up the bid if you had a good hand. However, the winner of the hand doesn't win the pot, he just doesn't loose anything he/she bet. All the rest of the "money" goes away. If you don't have enough money to bet/ante, you turn in a clothing item to get more so you can keep playing. I think it makes it much more interesting than 1 piece of clothing per hand.

I never played that way. have you ? does it make the game longer or shorter? what happens after the clothes are gone?
