Hey guys, Anyone have any good ideas for a strip club to make more money and draw in more customers? The only things to keep in mind is that they need to be profitable for both the bar and the girls. Also, this town is ultra conservative.

So there is no nudity at all, just provocativly dancing girls? Is it a place where a couple of lowlifes come to drink beer and chat away a few hours while the girls dance unnoticed by many? Is it a place where groups come, including women? A smokey pool hall? Are there other nudie bars around, other sports bars?

I guess it's obvious that you just dont have the people you are expecting. You are just going to have to do some market research and decide what the people of your town want. I dont know that 'amatuer nite', 'wet tshirt' nite is going to bring them in with regularity...but you never know.

I think its going to take more than a 'gimmick' to turn it around. It sounds like a whole new facade is in order. It is tough to change the habits of people...it is easier to change your self to suit their habits.

You're going to have to step back and look at it with a fresh view...

deeply philosophical question though, how do you know it is a sports/titties bar if you don't actually see the titties?

A Cyber Strip Club...

Set it up in a business park, connect two-way web infrastructure so customers can whip in their requests (cover charge-fee), with a general monthly access fee. Local amatuer and professional strippers can come in and do live strip shows with various props in a clean, personal environment. You can set up a profit sharing plan with the employees, with a good wage. You don't have to clean up a bar, get the liquor licenses, and dance through the hoops to get a club off the ground. In a business park, you would operate covertly in a safe environment for the girls, and guys, if you want to diversify. You also avoid the "torch and pitchfork" crowd that would sure to picket an open strip club.

Jerry's Lounge has been operating as a topless sports bar now for almost 20 years. The only problem is we are trying to clean up a bad image problem, and we are competeing with three other clubs and the city council. We are already advertising over the radio, and have one station coming in every Friday night and broadcasting from the club. Now we're trying to think up a few other ideas to help keep customers coming back regularly.

Our city council is very oriented towards Focus on the Family. They would rather not have any strip clubs in this town.


As for what is a sports bar? It's a bar with a large screen tv, for watching sports, pool tables, and a stage for girls to dance on
