Character:
Jack Alton , 21 , male
A grade student

Jack is studying late in university before the final examinations the following week, and is stressed because he had missed almost a month of lectures and tutorials because of a bout of bad pneumonia. He is now studying into the wee hours of the night alone. There is no one awake at this hour, except for a girl sitting at the next bench, who seems to be engrossed in her books as well. Jack decides the next time he gets up for a break, he would just say Hi to her and see where it leads.

Sierra Hughes
Height: 5' 2"
Appearance: Curly black hair, sharp features and warm tan that revealed a Lebanese-Mexican descent.
Measurements: 36C - 25 - 37

I was beginning to feel restless. Taking my books to the library meant I could stay away from the TV and my computer, but there was only so much a girl like me could take. My mind began to drift off to the parties that I might go to, the guys I might hook up once all this was done.

Then I stared down at my book again, and re-read the same sentence four times, before I slammed the book shut in frustration.

He stood up, closed him book, and set his pen down firmly on the benchtop. He glanced up just in time to see the girl bang her book down in apparent frustration. "Perhaps this would be a good time to get to talk to her..." he mused.

He tousled his hair unobtrusively, before taking slow deliberate steps in her direction. "Heya there, I'm Jack. Having trouble with the books as well huh? Wishing all these were over so I could have some fun."

He stood across the table, he eyes taking in her form.

I looked up at the voice absent-mindedly, as I was still trying to recall what exactly it was I had read a few minutes ago.

"Oh hi, I'm Sierra. Sorry I didn't catch your name. What did you say it was again?" I finally dropped the thought and gave him a look over. I haven't seen him around before, but it was a huge university. I took a glance at his books, and he didn't look like he was an economist.

"Ahh. Sierra. An unusual name I must say...don't hear that name much around these parts..."

"Anyway, glad to make your acquaintance at this ungodly hour of...", he pauses to look at his watch for effect, "4.47am. By the way, I'm Jack, and I'm pursuing a medical degree."

He is dressed simply at this hour, in a slightly oversized T shirt and a bermuda pants one who normally associate with the beach.

"And yourself? What do you do? Couldn't help but come over to talk to you...but let me know if I'm disturbing you." He finds himself extremely attracted to this girl, who he is meeting for just the first time, but her pleasant disposition has set his heart beating rapidly.

"Yea it is getting late," I said, there was something disarming about him though. Most guys who came onto me were pretty much jerks in university. I was glad I had my sweater over my legs though. For now anyway. It might be too distracting for the doctor. I loved showing off my long, tanned legs, even if it meant being a little of a tease with a skirt this short. But I was actually a lot less liberal at heart than I seemed to be.

"No, you're not disturbing me. In fact, you've come just at the right time. I wasn't getting anything into my head anyway. Doctor." I added at the end, teasing.

I grinned down at her. "Neither was I to be completely honest. Things like pneumonia and lung cancer are hardly topics that go down very well at night.

Although he did not show it outwardly, his heart was beating harder and faster and he could almost hear it audibly. What made things worst was that her top allowed him a great view of her ample cleavage. The deep V he could say made his manhood start to rise under his bermudas.

“So um…what are you planning on doing now?” he prods, partly in hope, partly in anticipation. He licks his lips, a tad nervously, hoping she doesn’t note his growing bulge.

OOC: Not sure if you still need this, considering that your finals should be over by now ;)

“So um…what are you planning on doing now?”

The uneasy pause, and the question that led to nothing in particular. I could hardly stifle a chuckle. He was suddenly nervous, and I wondered if I should take that as a compliment.

"Well there are many things I would love to do instead of this," I said, pointedly at the heap of books on the desk before me. "Unfortunately, a short break is all I can afford. And that usually means to grab a bite. Or a nap."

I sighed.

"Mmm. Yeah, unfortunately, that seems to be the biggest problem now. Time." He looked down at his feet now. "I don't think I have enough time for all these anyway. I'll probably just flunk the damn thing."

"Guess perhaps this IS not a good time to talk to girls." He laughed to himself, unsure of what else to say. He tried hard to avert his gaze, but it always inadvertantly led to him sneaking a look at the V between her top.

"Guess perhaps this IS not a good time to talk to girls."

A retreat? But there was also little mistake about the glances he was making down the front of my shirt. I had no problems with guys checking me out, but most of them gave me the creeps after awhile. Jack, on the other hand, was different. In some way. Perhaps, it was just the fact that he was a medical student. I always had a thing for them.

"But, is there ever a bad time?" I replied, flirting slightly with a smile. For some reason I wanted to reel him back in, even if I wasn't sure at all where I wanted this to head to.

"I don't know. Its 5am in the morning and I've got all these stuff to go through, and you've all that stuff to go through. Maybe, just maybe we should get back to work." He paused to think about the matter. "But then again, as I was saying, I don't think I can finish all this stuff so what the heck!"

He smiled when he saw her smile at him flirtaceously. "And then theres this freakin' crink in my back from those long hours hunched over these books. So maybe a break won't be that bad." He was trying to rationalise now, but more so, he wanted to be with her. For some reason, she was really very attractive, and he wanted it to lead somewhere. Somewhere fun he hoped.

He gazed into her eyes, melting somewhat at her sparkling pearls.

"And then theres this freakin' crink in my back from those long hours hunched over these books. So maybe a break won't be that bad."

"Well if you're hoping for a massage...you're out of luck," I smiled, pausing. "Only because you'll have to massage my feet first before I return you the favour."
