If you enjoyed my past Village War thread you will like my new Warlord thread.....revamped and reorganized. For those of you who followed the village warrior thread from the beginning (very long running thread) the world the players fought, build, and explored on was set aside by the gods to prove who's worshippers were the toughest. Being gods you can do things like that and things are at least some what orderly.......at least the last group were that way.


The new group of gods didn't put as much thought or control to their world known as the great plains.... The great planes is a fast stretch of land dotted with many great lakes. Then they stocked it with many human villages and animals. Problem is they didn't stop there in their setup for the next challenge. They allowed all manner of dangers and assets to be added. Abandon castles, factories, and lost cities. Dungeons, treasure hordes, and arsenals all are there to be uncovered. Also the technology is not limited to the starting medieval tech every group has access too from the beginning. There are caches of tech and magic all over and one just has to look for them. Also people are abounding wanting to flock to your banner. Warriors, wizards, scientists, barbarians, jet pilots, boat builders, workers, and other lost souls looking for a home. They each add something to your community that you build.


The enemy....besides the other writersare a host of different groups to fight. Fantasy enemies like vampires, skeletons, trolls, and goblins. Renegade humans are also abound as are monsterous creatures. Also the gods allowed more advanced alien races to have access to the world. You can fight pirates one day gremlins the next. Will your knights find a crashed UFO while searching for a dragon? Will you fighter pilots encounter Griffens flying through the air?

Of coarse you will have many visitors seeking out your village wanting to trade take up residence or sell their services.



OOC: Basically a genre blending strategy adventure. Want to fight demons with an Uzi in one hand a magic broad sword in the other? Have Angels living in your church while your priets learn tank repair? Ever wanted to trade war horses for a combat chopper? Think Vikings would like AK-47s? Have factory that makes magical items like swords, staffs, and flying carpets. Kill Grey aliens with a longbow. High adventure in a new land awaits. Have I perked your interest? Ask questions and share your thoughts I want to bring good strategy roleplay back to the online roleplay section.

Sample of the starting package for players....



1,000 Peons the grunts of the peasant set.
They each come with their own tools and are capable of many different jobs. They each have a tool box, farm tools, mining tools, wood axe, and hunting spears.

Required starting residence: Hut

400 factory workers who are valuable group of skilled workers.

They each come with their own tools to handle more advanced jobs. They have weilding tools, tool box, laptop computer.

Required starting residence: Company house.

2,000 Men-at-Arms the sergeants of the army true skilled fighters.

A cut above the rest when it comes to fighting. All are armor with plate and chain mail armor with gauntlets and helmets. Each has a spear, shield, sword, and have either ax or mace. Also for range attack they can choose between crossbow or longbow.

Required starting residence: Barracks or Warhall


These are just a sample with more to come. Also the sex of the workers can be decided by you and if your different classes combine children will have the skills of both mom and dad. For example a female factory worker takes a man-at-arms husband the children will have natural aptitude with blade and tools.
 
IR....your write it is a shame but nothing you can do sometimes. This has great potential. Threw you a piece and more is to come. Give it some thought. Every one start generic but your own style comes through.
 
Can I answer any questions about premise so this is more then a shameless bump? This is a game of strategy roleplay where you have magic and science.....fantasy and sci-fi. Where your left flank is guarded by flinty Dwarves and your right is protected by lazer rifle carrying Aliens. The center is filled with your finest house hold troops recruited from your first guards. They are the best of both worlds....wearing fine chainmail, lazer blaster at their side with dwarven made axes and shields in their hands....
