DonOld announced he had “made a decision” (“sort of”) to send Tomahawk Missiles to Ukraine, and DonOld assisted Israel in devastating Gaza to the point that Hamas has now APPARENTLY capitulated.

And then a major explosives plant in Tennessee blows up:

“The explosives plant in Tennessee, Accurate Energetic Systems, was vital to the production of military munitions, supplying explosives like TNT and C-4 to the U.S. military and other defense sectors. It played a significant role in the local economy, employing around 75 people and contributing to various military and commercial operations.”

😳

Coincidence???

🤔

We. Told. Them. So.

it is questionable, but it's also worth mentioning that it is not the entire plant that blew up but rather one of seven (maybe nine?) dedicated buildings. The others are intact. It's come to light that the company has had several safety issues in the past but that seems linked to PPE because of cyanite and settled for not many thousands of dollars and assurances to bring things up to standard.

time should tell us more as the fire/explosive specialists do their thing

Thanks for that clarification.

I do suspect the entire operation will be offline for some time until the cause is identified and remedies are provided / implemented (if it was sabotage, then that requires an extra level of consideration).

just heard it was one of 8 buildings... it was building 6

in 2014, when another company owned the buildings, there was another explosion that killed one person but it looked nothing like the size of this one :(

It sounds more and more like an industrial accident. Of course, DonOld’s deregulations and the slashing of government inspections doesn’t help…

one person believed missing found alive and well at home, not having been in the plant when it blew up

of the remaining 18 missing, there's no sign.
given the state of the scene, that's not exactly unexpected though terrible for the families. To not even be able to bury a loved one (or even their partial remains) must be so very difficult for most people.

The only comfort one could take from those circumstances is being fairly certain that their loved one didn’t suffer.
