Strange things you store in your car

I was just looking at the back of my car today and thinking I wonder what other people keep in theirs.

So what do you store in your car?

I store: a custom Recaro racing seat, pop-up stunt kite, a bolt of blackout drapery lining, a couple roll-up sleds, tent, spare clothes for PT, hiking rain poncho, a few books, old tennis shoes, normal car stuff and winter weather supplies.

I am sure there is more too, that's just the top layer

Just a few hats. The back seat must always be clear. Thats the rule.

I keep toys, coloring books and crayons, a change of clothes for everyone and of course normal car things(oil,wiper fluid,etc.) in the back of my car. I'm sure there are some other things I'm forgetting. Never know when you'll need that stuff.

I guess I should mention that I have a full size station wagon, so the back seat could always be clear, and it usually is.

However I picked up a bunch of free boxes at office max the perfect size for storing sewing patterns and they have yet to migrate to my apartment.

Hats!, I forgot hats. I have hats everywhere, usually have at least two around me at all times.

Welllllllll you made me think, Ok fire fighting gear 2 sets one for wildland, case of water, kids toys, water pistols, laptop, saddle in the trunk, hmmmm a flogger, and some new nylon robe.. All this in a civic, yes it gets crowded..

Yikes, I usually have condoms somewhere around but never in the car glove compartment. Does not seem like good storage conditions for those unless you use them frequently

Hmm lets see...small air compressor, windshield wash stuff, snow shovel, bungee cords, Jimmy Hoffa, a filthy mag (in case I'm stranded), and oh....a floatation device too

winter jacket, light coat, pumpkin seeds, large empty clean cans, several gallons of water, board games, some movies, a polished slab of granite, painting smocks, pencils, pillows, cassette tapes, a bag of clothes I should have taken to the thrift store but I am not ready to give his last clothes away, it's only been since November, constuction paper, my hat.
