Strange surnames.

What's in a name...

I had an english teacher who's name was Rose her last name was Bush. Needless to say we students gave her a really hard time that is until she married. Somehow I think she was really happy to take her husbands name. Don't know why??

Hi Carl , I was caught out with the "trees are green" a woman started at work called Terresa and somebody said her last name was green and I thought that was her name. OOPS

I used to go to school with a girl called Susan a few years later I met and she had married a Mr Perb so she became Sue Perb.

The principal of Perry Meridian High School's name was Richard Head, the name is bad enough but with his choosen occupation, oh dear. His son's name was Ed. I also went to school with a guy named Eric Hunt. Be careful when you say that!

Minx, you just reminded me of someone at work whose name I refused to believe. His name was John Doe, but what made it harder to swallow, was that he married a Jane. It wasn't until I saw his name on the works application, that I believed him.

Carl.

We had a regular customer named Dick Palmer. I wonder if he had a brother named Harry.

I once had a high school teacher whose last name was Hoer, only he pronounced it hair. I also knew a guy named Harry Ball.

Weird names are sort of a fascination to my Frank and me.
He knew a brother and sister growing up, named Doug and
Mary Trees. Not so bad untl you saw their FULL names:
Douglas Fir Trees and Mary [Merry] Christmas Trees.
Cruel, CRUEL parents!

My husband's high-school yearbook has a Hall of Name, weird
names that were in the press at the time. Let's see if
I can find... Oh, here it is. I'll give just two I find the worst: Lentmerch Orfolding and Rapundletwitz Winkersnook.
Hope they never married each other!

Supposedly, one photographer had his name legally
changed to Snap Shot, another to F. Stop Fitzgerald,
but those are made-up names so they don't really count,
do they?

This is fun, and we didn't mention sex once!
