Strange mood

You must excuse me tonight. I'm in an extremely strange mood tonight. I received one of the best compliments I can think of receiving today from a co-worker.

Recently a co-worker's daughter was in the hospital for a Hysterectomy. This young lady was not taking it at all well. Her BSBF left her when it found out she was getting things removed, telling her that now that she couldn't have children she was no longer a woman and he was no longer interested. (Low lifed pencil dicked scrotum sniffing ball licking cum stealing crotch scratching ass sucking individual.) Needless to say she didn't take this very well. I ended up working with her for several days, spending more time with her than was medicaly needed. By the end of this she was starting to smile and saw what kind of numbnuts he was. She is now doing very well. (The reason for the operation turned out to be non cancerous.)

Her mother saw me today in work and told me she credited me with her daughters rapid recovery, and that if she ever needed medical care she was going to make sure to request my care. Considering she is an R.N. with many years in the field this is one of the highest compliments she could ever have given me.

Well done, SeaCat.

Now, shall we hunt down the low life and make sure he can't pollute the gene pool anymore?

I have the feeling that will be a self correcting problem. He sounds as though he is a club hopper of a gent and both the mother and daughter have put out the word to their friends in the club scene. :cathappy: I somehow have the feeling he may be visiting my hospital in the near future, where the young ladies mother is well liked and respected on all floors and units.

There is an old saying in medicine. Never piss off the nurses. They will always get you in the end! :p

(slaps forehead) I forgot. This problem does tend to correct itself.

And you're right about the nurses. When I see one approaching snapping on a rubber glove my second thought is, "Have I done anything t make this person unhappy with me?"

The first thought is private and is between me and my nurse. :p

ROTFLMAO

Profesional courtesy forbids me from revealing my first thought when I see the same scene.

Way to go Cat!

Working in a hospital can be one of the most thankless, unappreciated jobs there is. We see people at their worst and they tend to focus on their own pain rather than those who are trying to help them.

I'm glad you were acknowledged for exceptional work.

I thank you.

Somehow even though we see the worst in people, we also manage to see the best in them.

Yes, one can always find the hidden strength in those suffering.
