I must admit the idea that you hadn't considered the guys actually being hit on by other guys is major oversight in my mind. It's certainly kinda funny since it seems to me to be one of the most obvious possibilities in that scenario.

It's told from the guy's POV. They "act" gay, and in their mind are doing a great job. To the reader it's kinda obvious they're doing a painful impression of a stereotype.

It ends up at the point where one of the girls "drunkenly" agrees to having sex with them, but she's nervous because she doesn't normally do this. She needs some encouragement. They need to start, get the girls in the mood.
