As a result of corresponding with the webmasters over a story which violated the rules of the site, I have received the following information just today (4-18-2003):


As far as the neglect of Chyoo, there has been ongoing work on the 2.0 version of the site. It's taken way longer than we had hoped, because we are always working on keep Literotica up and running and fast and all that. Chyoo 2.0 should be ready to go in the next month or so. Actually, we think it's ready now, but we may have to wait until the beginning or middle of May to launch it for logistical reasons. It has some new features that have been requested and a lot better admin features - something that will allow us to react quicker to comments, complaints, suggestion, etc.

I apologize for the fact that we haven't been as responsive as we could have been and hopefully that will improve in the coming months.

Good News

That is great. It is nice to finally hear that the site is not totally abandoned in terms of future plans. Hopefully we won't lose anything when the transistion is made. I just finished a huge project at my company and no matter what was promised to me something always seemed to go wrong.

Hopefully this upgrade will go well.

How come they decided to talk to you, and never reply to any of our pleas for attention?

How did you do it? And most of all, who did you talk to?

Good Thing

Hopefully this is a good thing and we will not lose any of the writing that has been done to date. I have done several conversions at my business and it always seems like we lose something to gain something.

In any event if the site is cleaned up, and easier to use it will be a plus for the future.

I wonder if we will get any warning, or if it is just going to happen one day?

Cost?

Hopefully Chyoo will remain free. I am excited about this new Chyoo 2.0 or whatever it's called. I hope we recieve it soon! Bring on the next level of interactive adult fiction... we're waiting!
