What types of storytelling and roleplaying do you engage in during sexual activities and how far do you go into characterization and whatnot?

Recently I have begun some full story narration in the bedroom, describing all of my actions and inventing literotica-worthy full storylines involving often times two completely fictitious people who were not us in the bedroom.

Does anybody else find themselves doing that or have other roleplaying or storytelling sex stories to tell?

Since nobody else seems to be replying - I like roleplay and storytelling.
I like the feeling of escapism, and the chance to toy with different scenarios. Occasionally I like the feeling of pseudo-danger, or risk, and it lets me indulge in some of my darker fantasies.

And then other times, all I want to do is hold my man close and bask in the fact he’s mine, and how much I love him, because nothing lives up to that reality.

Well, that's a nightmare. I understand roleplay and I also get going overboard.

Not something I indulge in personally but common practice with fetishists.

The interaction apparently must follow set patterns if arousal is to happen and the partner must treat the roleplay seriously.

Immoderate laughter can cause detumenesence.

Dom/Sub relationships can be choreographed. I was asked to write a scenario for one of our local ladies of the night who specialised in domination (The Chamber of Commerce member). Unfortunately neither of us could take the project seriously and would suggest taking the acting to ridiculous extremes.

Her customer wanted her to be a stern Victorian schoolmarm with a penchant for flogging naughty boys for grammatical errors. Our problem? The lady of the night's grammar was none of the best and the customer had been to a good school. She wouldn't recognise a split infinitive if it was served with tomato sauce... To boldy go where grammar never went...

It's obviously something that interests me (see second post!), partly because it gives you something wholly different. As has been noted on the boards, there are only so many ways of Tab A into Slot B and I feel like playing a different role allows me to express my love, both emotionally and physically, in a broader fashion.

However, I have just been reading The Dice Man, so you can view this post through that filter if you like...
