I intend to write a BDSM story I have been working on, mentally, for some time now. Can anyone give me some info on how to submit it to Lit so that it gets into the story section of the site?

Also, would anyone like to look it over for me once I finish writing it?

Thank you, I happen to be quite fond of them myself and the body they are attached to as well.

You wil find all the info needed here . If you wish, I am happy to give it a look over once you are finished.

I also voulnteer to give it a read over to give you some feed back...

I submitted one a couple of days ago, I am waiting to see if it gets approved.

yeah I'd give it a look over as well, adn i ALSO have one I submitted a few days ago and waiting to se eif it gets approved, so, while I'm on it, if it does, would y'all mind taking a lok at it and tell me whacha think? Especillay subs, cus that's teh main target audience.

Well back on topic, can't wait to see it posted on lit Penalt.

Those of you who have submitted one in the last few days will likely know if it is accepted in a week. It usually takes 4-8 days depending on how busy they are and unless you have something in it against the rules it will get through. Good luck.

i'd love to look at all of them, but im not much of an editor... it might be better if i just wait till they are posted online that way i could...um... read them... at my own pace  i'll keep an eye out for all three stories, Pheonix, Toa_lin, and Penalt

Thanks for the info Catalina. I will look it over and get cracking on the writing. This will be the second story I have ever written and the first erotic one.

My first story was titled, "First and Final War" about a mermaid who begins to take revenge on the polluters who have killed off her kind. The twist was the reader doesn't find out the protagonist is a mermaid until the very end.

To those of you who offered to give some story feedback I will definitely be taking you up on the offers, again, much thanks.

Thanx for the 411

yeah I've got a couple things posted here, and as far as the story writing goes, i've written an inumerable ammount of stroies in my lfie time... jsut this'll be my first one posted on lit. And if anyone wants a copy b4 it gets posted, feel free to PM me, and I'll send ya one, and btw, PLEASE take it at your "own pace" that's what amkes reading one enjoyable ;)

Well started writing and then had to take my oldest to hospital. Bronchitis not pneumonia, thank god. But it means the writing speed is down to a crawl. Please be patient with me. Here is an excerpt from what I have so far:

..... I took in anew the woman at my side. Her lush figure, as usual, threatening to escape from the tight lacings of her own bodice, coal black hair in a firm braid down to her waist and her show collar with its triskel medallion glinting with candlelight. Tugging on the medallion I drew her close to enjoy the sweetness of her lips. As I released her and passed her the tankard I had grabbed for her I saw the merriment in her eyes and the beginnings of a fire that would keep us warm far into the night.

Will continue working on it as I can.

If you need another editor, I'd be glad to help. I'm working on a master's degree in English as we speak, and I'm total grammar Nazi, LOL. (Not that I think your grammar sucks or anything.) I love, love, love reading other people's work and offering feedback. :)

well, while we're on the subject, I'm always open to edit as well. I don't have anything under my belt as prestigious as an English degree, or even working towards one. No, all I have to offer is four years of being able to put my Englsih teachers' work to shame with ease

Hehehe, oh, and that I've been editing a friend of mine's works ever since she started into the realm of being a novelist... and she has turned down professional editors since. Whether it's cus she's loyal, or because I'm better, i don't know, but it can't hurt to claim it means something can it? ;)

That's awesome. My degree won't be worth shit, but it's something I'm at least remotely good at, LOL. I've always been one of those people who just had no trouble picking up the nuances of the English language, and it's cool to see others who are the same way. I love to write, but I just can't force myself to finish anything!

re-starts mini hijack for a second

yeah I love to write too, I just normally haven't finished most of them. I get way too hooked on some ideal I came up with halfway through, that suddenly my story is soo far off it's original topic I don't have the energy to drag it back, and if i don't then all the stuff b4 hand was ALSO just a waste.... god I hate being able to make such random coneections feel coherent.

For the most part, just as with my art, I have to sit at it until it is finished otherwise it loses much of its purpose and life.

LOL, well I tend to think my writing (and art) has a way to go but from early school days forward I have been told I am wasting my time doing anything else. When I went back to school in my 30's in preparation for university, one of my teachers actually broke down in tears because I was going to university instead of trying to be a writer....heh, I had kids to feed....she said she used to leave my assignments (and remember these were economic assignments..majorly boring) until last to mark and then set herself up in her living room with foot stool, coffee and cake to enjoy whatever I had written. I thought she was nuts (nice nut though) but when I went to uni, a few of my lecturers told me the same and said my edge in both exams and assignments came from my writing style more so than excessively extra knowledge to some other students....one told me even if I had the question wrong, I wrote in such a way he was always tempted to mark it an A+ regardless. LOL, of course it never went down well with fellow students who knew me well and knew I usually started a major university assignment at 11PM the night before, and handed in the one and only draft at 9AM the next morning as the finished product and then topped the class and was held up by tutors as an example of what they could achieve if they worked hard and did several drafts on an assignment before handing it in!! I always felt I must have had a guardian angel.

sounds like you are just one of those who 'have it' Master is a great writer as well and everytime He finishes a story i'm always amazed at how He does it. i'm not a writer, but i LOVE to read and always have. i see your links to your poems and stories in your sig, i think imma venture over and read some ;)

Mamid is like that with art. One of the great regrets we have about raising kids is that it has left her almost no time for her drawing. I should grab her old sketchbooks and scan them in. She even did some art for a local bdsm newsletter back in the day. She just takes a pad and pencil and suddenly lines start merging into forms and then forms into art. Its an incredible process to watch.
