Story: White Slavery on the Dark Continent

This is an interracial story I've been building, and I hope to inspire some interest in collaborators. It's set in the fictional African nation of Lumumba, which teeters on the brink of civil war. Two white girls find themselves trapped in this unhappy location just as things are at their worst.

From this basic starting point, I introduce four pairs of foreigners to tag along with...
backpackers from Sweden and Australia
Irish researcher and her Canadian student
US aid worker and a German nurse
Miss South Africa beauty queen and her English friend and photographer

I've developed a number of jump off threads for each. Hope you have a read and are willing to contribute.

It's an interesting idea for a story concept but it's whether or not that will be maintained or just people ignore and just go with sex threads. Can't fault a bit of erotica but it's nice to have story development.

Thanks for the comments. So far the (few) threads submitted by other writers have been as good or better than mine, both in terms of quality and in terms of advancing the story. I feel the story is in the shape now where if people want to start adding sex threads, some back story and character development has developed, and anyways there are plenty of spaces open for other branches regardless. One branch can go right for sex, and another can ratchet up the tension some more.

Appreciate comments and criticism (I've been known to go back and edit my old threads that don't quite measure up), but I appreciate new threads most of all!

May Day update

Some developments in the story of Heather MacPhail, an idealistic young American aid worker, and her travelling companion, Heidi Handel, a nursing student from Germany.

First, ltimmyt describes when the girls, Heather's father and their guide are stopped at a roadblock in the countryside ( READ IT! )

I contributed some follow up threads, by kaylaiswicked really gets the action moving when the guide gets killed to demonstrate the seriousness of the situation! SEE IT HERE!
