I m looking for a story of a well known author I don't remember.in this story the husband stabs the to be lover of wife and runs.later the wife finds him and she asks for forgiveness.she comes everyday to his house.he had fled the country running from the law.she preserves the handkerchief,a book and a knife with which he stabbed her lover.at last they reconcile.I read this but don't remember the author n the title.plss help.u will like this one.a must read.

FAWC has a different challenge for the writers who submit stories every time, and the challenge for that one was for each of the stories to start with the same opening line. "Desperate Times and Measures" was the highest-scored story out of all of them, but there were some other great stories produced, all going different directions. I highly recommend you look those up, too, as they're good reading - and I'm not just saying that because two were mine.
