So, I ran a search and found out that one of my stories has ended up as a teaser to another site. Does anyone here know whether I have any recourse if haven't been asked for the story or if I just don't like where it is published?

Contact Laurel with the details, the URL, info like that.

She has gotten good at taking care of things like this. Good luck.

You have the copy-right, tell them to pull it or you will sue their ass. Or whatever you want.

There have been several threads on this subject and there is one going on in the Story Feedback forum. I have had at least 36 stories stolen, at least in part and it pisses me off. What especially bothers me is that some of them are listed in rape sites although my stories are all about affectionate sex.

Just tried it -- did a Google search on the title one of my old stroke stories, called "Sex". A shitload of sites... bummer.

There is so much theft going on and so much of it is being done from countries that do not respect the copyright laws that Laurel and Manu are having a hard time tracking the pirates and taking other action. I hope they succeed but there are probably thousands of stories being stolen.

Depending on which search engine I use, I end up with dozens to hundreds of hits outside Literotica.

Some give me credit for unusual works e.g.

"biographie tina turner we don t need another hero. by oggbashan tina turner song lyrics download tina turner ... age tina turner movie. oggbashan. Now, please, can you do something about ..."

Hi, Og.
Which search engine is that? I usually use Google and I have also used Yahoo and AOL. Google seems to be the best.

I ask for "Boxlicker101" and get some stories, including some on Lit, and some I have never heard of. Apparently there is another story writer using the same handle.

I have better luck using a phrase from individual stories, such as "her adorable rosebud" or "her precious clit" or other phrases like that. I find a lot of stories like that, and they don't use the name of the story or my handle although sometimes the narrator is named George Boxlicker and those stories appear.

Besides stealing whole stories, sometimes I find a site where there is a whole jumble of disconnected sentences and phrases and some of mine are included therein. I don't mean that there is a passage that is credited; I mean there is a long series of disconnected sentences and phrases. I am not going to report this kind of thing to Laurel anymore because it may not even be illegal to use such a short passage. It still pisses me off, though.
