What's the deal with submitting story tags / keywords? My "Members / View Submissions" page says

* Please Click Here - You Need To Add *
* Tags/Keywords For The Above Submission *

on two of my older stories. Clicking on the link takes you to a page to enter keywords, which I did about three weeks ago. However, the tags have not been updated on my actual stories, and the message still shows on my "submissions" page (love that title). Although when I click the link again, the fields are filled out with the new tags.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what the problem might be and how to fix it?

I would appreciate some advice from those wiser than I in navigating the quirks of Literotica.

Nothing to worry about. It's just a glitch in the system and eventually your tags will be updated with the ones you chose.

Do glitches usually take that long to repair?
All glitches are in one of two categories: just started to fix it OR almost finished fixing it.

Snooper, above, gave yout the best answer.

But I can give you another one. Glitches take either as long as it's necessary to be taken care of or as long as it's necessary for almost everyone to complain about them everywhere on the boards and on PMs. Then Lit's admin take care of them. :D

Which brings up another question...

It has been brought to my attention that I have failed to use the tags correctly. I have in some cases left my stories inaccessible because I have not fully understood their utility. So, is there a way to edit the tags to a story?

Another thought, as a new UNDER-UTILIZED editor / mentor (beginners only, I'm an admittedly mediocre editor but a kick-ass mentor), should "we" be educating new writers about tags? I mean suggesting tags for their stories? If we don't, who will? I don't think it's inherent.

I teach by day and it carries forward into the evening <WINK - back on days LadyC>

As a training developer I "look" for training shortfalls. I'm only trying to help, I don't want to "appear" to be meddling. My comments are honest and straightforward.

So, are tags something the editor community addresses? And if so, I think "we" as a community need to agree how.
