I'm new to submitting stories here. I submitted my first two stories at the end of last month and they were accepted and posted within about 48 hrs. I submitted a third story 5 June with the only difference that I had a note to admin. It stayed in pending for 5 days and I thought maybe the note to admin caused the delay so I edited the story on 10 June to remove the note to admin and re-submitted it. It remains in pending. I PM'd Laurel on the 13th and she replied that she would look into it, but I have not heard anything further and the story remains in pending.
In reading the Lit Tech Support forum in more detail the past few days I thought that possibly there may be a formatting issue. I had written the stories in Word but submitted by copying and pasting into the Story Text box. Possibly some stray review comment was embedded in the third story that did not happen with the first two. I wonder if it would be worthwhile to delete the submitted third story, save my Word doc in Rich Text Format and re-submit. Any thoughts?
