Story stuck in pending since 16th Nov

Greetings, I submitted my story on 16th and it is still pending. Can anyone offer any insights as to how I can follow up with a real human, instead of links leading to a pre-written page of FAQs etc? Thanks.

Send a polite message directly to Laurel, explaining your situation in detail. If you've been waiting that long, then based on my experience I think there's a good chance your story was caught by an AI filter. Those filters often generate false positives.

It's an ongoing glitch that for some reason people here don't like to mention.

It seems stories go into the que and for whatever reason the site doesn't 'see' them and they will stay there until you delete them and resubmit.

You could also send a PM to Laurel as mention it, but you're better off doing it the other way because you may not get a response from her.

My most recent story was pending for 15 days. I got no response. It was the longest pending time ever for me.

I sent 2 messages to the Site and got no response.

So I got fed up and resubmitted the story, changing the category and sending a note with the submission, and in a few hours I got a response that the story had been rejected for having been flagged as AI-generated! Which it wasn't, at all. I promptly resubmitted, again, with some notes and explanations, and not too longer after I received a response that the rejection had been in error and they had meant to accept the story.

Moral of the story: Keep pushing for yourself. Be polite, but stand up for yourself and don't hold back from contacting Laurel if you think it's appropriate. I think if I hadn't done anything that story might still be pending, stuck in limbo-land for whatever reason.

I have a story that was submitted on November 9th that is still pending. I have sent Laurel a PM to see if she can help. I hate to delete it and then re-submit it, but that may need to be the route I choose.

The longer the wait, the higher percentage chance it's being rejected.

One thing to Also note is that from the "new stories' there are a lot of stories each day. It takes time.
Also for authors who don't have much of a history, their submissions will have a closer scrutiny and take longer.
So, like others have said, "hang in there".

You need the Laurel with the title "Kitty Mama". Click on the envelope icon and just type her name.

I am frustrated because my works have been in 'pending' status for over two weeks, even after making all the requested corrections and having an editor review them. I wrote to the administration, but I have not received a response. I feel very discouraged and unmotivated to write, despite having many great ideas. I wouldn’t want to leave Literotica and take my work elsewhere, but if I don’t find a solution, unfortunately, I believe that will happen.
