story series - NEW! ?

Seems like there's always been a "Story Series" category, or has there? Today I was actually looking at the categories etc, and saw there was a red "New" tag on "Story Series" or was it "Series Stories"- damn my lack of attention.

Anyway, I thought it was a good idea to have a place to put the multi chapter stories, and sure enough it wasn't just for new multi chapter stories, even found the series that resulted from the first story I posted here. - and the first story is a different category than the rest, but is listed with the other chapters.

I like the format, it has all the usual categories, and when you look at the actual list of stories in any one category, it shows each chapter in a series rather than just the name of the series. Wonder if the 'old' categories only show single chapter stories now?

I wonder how long has this been there, and while I like it, what are the everyone else's thoughts.

Looks like someone finally worked out the sql to gather up all those parts out there and list them in one place.

It's not a new category, just a place to look at all the multi-chapter stories out there.

It was instituted a couple of years ago when the hubs were added.

Now that you mentioned the story series and with me being more of a novelist than I am a short story writer, you had me curious as to how many stories series and chapters I had posted just under my SusanJillParker name.

I have 67 stories series of 444 chapters (lol). Now, I'll have to count my other 14 names to see just how many stories series and chapters that I have (lol).
