Some exciting--for me anyway--new stuff is going on in the Story Discussion Circle!

Workshop!

First of all, we're introducing the Workshop. What's a workshop? It gives Lit authors the opportunity to have their works reviewed by other authors, editors, and readers before submitting the story to Literotica. And in a timely fashion, too! All you have to do is have a completed draft of your story ready for review and give two other authors feedback on their workshopped writing.

How does it work? The first thing to do is stop by the Workshop sign-up thread and sign yourself up. Once you've signed up (don't post your work!), give at least two other worshop authors a review, then PM the moderator with the names of the authors you gave feedback to and your story! Simple, right? If you're still confused, check out the Workshop sign-up thread for more information. If you still have questions, drop me a PM and I'll answer them!

We have two stories in workshop as we speak. Want to see what kind of help you can get? Perhaps leave a few notes of your own? Check out Rumple Foreskin's workshop to see how it's done.

Give a little and get a lot! Just don't post your own work! Because we make sure everyone gives feedback before they receive it, we can maintain a high standard of quality feedback for everyone. Just sign-up, give a couple of reviews, and PM with the names of the authors and your story, then you will be getting the feedback you've been looking for before you submit to Lit. Catch those mistakes before it's too late.

Story Discussion

Do you have a story posted at Lit already and you want to get some feedback? The SDC can accomodate you there, too! How? It's easy. Just sign up in the Discussion sign-up thread and give feedback two to other author discussions and it'll be your turn!

the_bragis, alex756, and champagne1982 are our latest crop of authors on the chopping block! As you can see, the Story Discussion Circle gets quite a bit of quality feedback for our authors.

Now remember, don't post your own work. Because we make sure everyone gives feedback before they receive it, we can maintain a high standard of quality feedback for everyone. Just sign-up, give a couple of reviews, and PM with the names of the authors and your story will be getting the feedback you've been looking for.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to drop by the SDC and ask or PM me.

come on in, the water's fine

The Workshop threads are great!

Seeing how RF rewrote his piece after input was very interesting and a great learning experience.

Come on around, y'all! We can help each other!
