Story Rejection

I'm a long time reader of stories from this site and recently submitted a story of my own. I was quite surprised that my story was rejected for posting and referred to the extreme site. As I've indicated I have been visiting this site for some time now and have a good feel for the content of the stories and although my story was a non consensual theme it involved no violence to speak of. Additionally there are a number of stories that are much more extreme dealing with the same subject matter that also include gang rape which my story did not including:

The Fall of Rebecca
No Innocent Bystanders
Kelly Gets Drugged
Violated: Office Surprise
Drugging His Sister Ch. 1
MDT
Just A Cup Of Tea

The theme of my fictional story involved the use of a drug in order to have one on one sex with an unconscious women, much like the stories above.

I submitted the story using cut and paste but also have the story in Word format if there is a formatting issue. The feedback email I received indicated that it was as a result of extreme violence which as I indicate my story did not have. Additionally it was purely fictional - did I need to state that?

I appreciate any advice. Thanks for the fine site.

Well, the way it works here is that Literotica posts rape victim fantasies, but does not post rapist fantasies.

The difference is that the victim enjoys what's happening.

Was yours a rapee fantasy or a rapist fantasy?

Well, the way it works here is that Literotica posts rape victim fantasies, but does not post rapist fantasies.

That is so weird, and strikes at the heart of male/female sexuality. A rape victim fantasy is "I want to be fucked against my will." I admit even I, a heterosexual male, have had rape victim fantasies. Strap-ons, that sort of thing.

I personally never have rapist fantasies. So I really kind of understand it, but of course it's a paradox that can be used to obfuscate a lot of "genuine" rape cases.

Quote from Scottish Parliament definition of rape:

The institutional writers defined rape in terms which have subsequently become problematic. Hume stated that the carnal knowledge of the woman must be `against her will and by force' and such definitions have continued to be used by the courts. One objection to such definitions is that the language may be taken to imply the necessity of a struggle having taken place. Hume, in fact, states that the `resistance must be continued to the last; so that it is by main force only and terror that the violation is accomplished.' He later qualifies his requirement of resistance in a case where threats are uttered.

The modern law does not require that the threat be one of death: any threat of physical violence will suffice.

Some commentators have argued that force is simply one way of demonstrating that the intercourse was against the victim's will. If the accused was compelled to use force, then it seems obvious that the female must have been unwilling and refused her consent. Therefore, it is argued, the actus reus can more accurately be represented as: `the carnal knowledge of a woman against her will'.

There's an extreme site?

No, I don't need the URL, I tend to have rather -soft-tastes.

I.V.: Try posting it to Usenet.

Here's a FAQ on how to do so:

http://assm.asstr.org/assm/faq.html

There really are no controls on what can be posted to Usenet. The method used to control there is story codes.

You put codes in the subject line that tell people what fetishes you're focused on, so that fans can find you and people who dislike that fetish don't need to be bothered by you.

A post to Usenet might also help you find websites focused on your particular story-theme.

That's how I found this site...

Posting to ASSM led me to talking with an author with similar tastes to mine who suggested I come here (as well as a few other places) and participate.

They ran a story a few days ago that featured coprophagia. Now that surprised me.

me too

i have just had a story of a similer nature rejected. Would like help to know why the story had been edited and all.

I wrote a story that got rejected from lit

Violent rape, they said.

Bah, I said.

I re-read it a few months later and realized YES, it was very disgustingly violent. Sooo...I re-wrote it paragraph by paragraph, changing things here and there, maybe not exactly improving it, but definitely making myself feel better about it. And then? I submitted it again. and now it's up on the site. Cooool.

Try it.

Dear ST,
Were they for or against it?

In your INet wanderings, have you come across any stories about transvestite singing cowboys? Quaz and I would love to find some of those.
MG
Ps. I think Chickie handled story rejection in the best possible way.
