Story rejected

Okay. I had written a non-erotic piece based on the 1961 short story "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut. I summarized it here and I was told that it violated their rules. Oh well.

I've still never been hit with an AI rejection, so here's my expert advice. Confuse your than/then's, to/too/two's, there/they're/their's, and always forget the L in chucked. It works for me.

I assume you did not get rejected for AI. The online tools might have nabbed you for plagiarism. Even though you probably didn't do that

Unless someone has mass produced my brain, I doubt that my stories were flagged for plagarism.

haha, then it'll be returned, citing 'too many mispellings.' I can't be creative anymore.

Well since you did not disclose what rejection message you got I figured it wasn't AI or length too short.

If you got rejected for ai, join the probably hundreds of us who have received that message too. There are several threads about it and a work around that works for most

If I understand it correctly, @Lolita30 posted a summary of her story, describing it as an alternative ending to a Kurt Vonnegut story.

@TheWritingGroup then informed her that it was against Lit policy - presumably for copyright reasons. I didn't read the summary, and I don't know the original.

@Lolita30 perhaps took that as a formal rejection?

I summarized my original story called "The Silence of the General" which the protagonist avenges 7ft. tall, 14 year old Harrison Bergeron's death at the televison studio. Based on the original story 'Harrison Bergeron' by Kurt Vonnegut. That post was flagged as a violation according to the terms and conditions.:rolleyes:

Here's a list of reasons why Literotica would reject a story

Was your story rejected by the site, if so for what reason? Or were you just called on not posting more than three paragraphs of a story (especially a rejected one) on the foruma? I’m confused.

I summarized it just to share, and I got flagged for violating the policy. I'm afraid to post stories now because they might be flagged as AI. No amount of appeals or emails would make any difference at this point.

Do you sometimes go by "John Smith"?
