Story pending for 7 days

My latest story has been sitting in "Pending" for 7 days. Since joining this site earlier this year, I have never had a story take longer than 3 days to post. What should I do?

How many previous? Is this one different somehow?

Mine went up in less than three days this past week.

I’m having the same problem, I posted a story on 7/14 and it hasn’t been approved or rejected yet.

I have 23 stories on my author page. The one that's hung up is Chapter 4 of a series where 1-3 all posted in the usual timeframe.

I've just had this and now a rejection for formatting issues, which I've never had before.

I'm wondering if it's an issue with a rtf file created in LibreOffice?

Have folks that had theirs stuck seen them get approved yet? I've got a short one I posted back on 7/21 and it still says "pending." No e-mails about it, not rejected or anything. It's been a long time since I've posted and I'm trying to get back at it so it's a little frustrating that my first go is apparently trapped in the ether.

Huh, I've had one pending since 8/3, which surprised me because (like the original poster) my past experience has been 2-3 day turnaround. But if there's one hanging around since 7/21, then I guess I have to be prepared to hunker down for a long wait...

Someone said that Laurel was on vacation. don't know if it's true or not. I summitted two stories same day. Both were approved in 3-4 days. But they are for the summer lovin contest and won't go live until the 21st. I have a third pending for four days now.

I'am also waiting for 7 days now. It is an EDITED story, so i just thought that this might take a little longer than new ones?! I'am new to Lit, so i don't have any experience with review times.

Edits can take a week or more. I had one that took almost 10 days to go live. I had two new stories that were uploaded 3 and 5 days after the edit go live before the Edit did.
