OCC: Looking for someone to try a story with.
Please PM me if you'd care to create a story with me.
I'm new to posting.
Here is my idea for a story:
Amy had returned to her childhood home a ranch out in the middle of nowhere. Her fathers dream but she hoped she could make it something he could be proud of. Wanting him to be proud of her even after he was gone. Heaven knows she had dissappointed him when she had chosen the biziness route went to college and then to the city with a job offer she had hoped for but was never happy with. Her fathers passing left her with more then she knew she could handle alone but would do her best.
She left posted on the bullentin board at the local diner "Experience horsemen needed at local ranch, room and board, inquire with cook". The diner owner/cook was close friends with her father.
Neighboring ranch owner wanted her land to expand his own. Starting with lawyers contacting her lawyers relieving her of her inherited burden then when that offer was politely declined. The next suggested that a woman of her education would be unable to maintain an interest in rural life for long.
Fact was she loved being back home. She loved the horses she had missed them but knew she was unable to do all the work herself.
