This is a long shot but I’m searching for a story I read a few years ago and lost the name and forgot the author. It starts out with a commercial real a state agent feeling good about himself sitting in a Starbucks across the street from the hospital his wife works in. He happens to look up and see her in a car leaving a parking garage with a male. He calls her to bring her a coffee or something and she lies to him about working late. She ends up being in a affair with her new boss. It goes on from there.
